Looking for a smart DVD for family movie night? @megbasham recommends @PovertyINC.
"It's one of the few politically themed documentaries more interested in making a targeted case on a specific subject rather than firing a scattershot screed."

Highly recommend @PovertyINC on amazon prime. Interesting to revisit since learning about this sphere of thought in aid & humanitarian work. Totally agreed w/ a lot of the issues brought up, esp bc a lot of our previous humanitarian work fell in the same traps.. Very sobering!
Everyone who donates, wants to work in international development, or is interested in international economic development needs to watch @PovertyINC. Ignorance has consequences.
Our friends, @WholePlanet, are screening the film in #Austin TX & will also have a discussion with another friend: Sengalese entrepreneur, Magatte Wade. Get your tickets for the event this Thursday - https://t.co/6Nn9UppG1l
Watch it. Change the way we donate to charity. Answers questions I've had since I did my first 'Walk For Hunger' in Boston many many moons ago..... https://t.co/zhcQVTQCIU @PovertyINC
Make sure you check out @SIMAawards & @SIMAramacinema this month & for the foreseeable future for great documentaries! This month they are showing Poverty, Inc. & we thank them for doing so!
