Congratulations, Emmanuel Wanyonyi, on bringing home the Olympic gold in the thrilling 800m race! This meticulous performance maintains the Kenyan stranglehold on the race over the decades.
Honoured and grateful to have been nominated by H.E. the President @WilliamsRuto as the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports.
Thank you, Mr. President, for this incredible opportunity to serve our great nation, Kenya.
The last two weeks have been moments of deep reflection. I would like to unreservedly apologise to every Kenyan who I may have offended through my words, my deeds and my conduct, including my lifestyle, in the last two years of my public service.
Subject to my approval by Parliament, I pledge to serve the people of Kenya diligently, with great humility and unwavering accountability.
Thank you very much.
God bless you and God bless Kenya.
Erick Okeyo: By now we should have seen an instrument removing these advisers by name because Kenyans don't know how many they are. You can't be talking about austerity but begin another route of unnecessary taskforces every day. We cannot be a country of task forces because those appointed draw salaries from the ex-checker.

Erick Okeyo: I don't think that President William Ruto has been in this country for a record three weeks since he was elected. He is an airborne president landing and going. I must thank the Gen z's that they have brought order. We now have a president grounded that I don't think he can go to the UK for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Prime Minister because he has enough fire to put out at home.

It is not uncommon for a bank to loan you money because the collateral you offer is very attractive. Sometimes banks loan you money when they know you can't repay the loan because they want that collateral. A bank giving you a loan does not mean you are special.
