Use just a course platform if you don't see yourself doing anything beyond courses.

Use a Membership + LMS platform if you want to grow and scale your business, and want to have options beyond courses/challenges.

When you have a small or big problem but figured out how to solve, create a digital product!

How you package it depends on the scope of the problem.

Small problem: freebie
Big problem: paid product

Experience is the best teacher & no problem is too small to be solved.

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

You don't have to offer subscriptions from your membership site!

Start with a freebie.
Build your audience.
Create/sell digital products (PDF, checklist, etc.)
Send traffic.
Create/sell mini-course / challenge.

How?

Membership Software vs Membership site

A site becomes a "membership" site when you charge a subscription fee for your products/services.

A membership software such as https://t.co/VeB6RXGW5U will allow you to build and run your membership site, and fully automate it.

But...

Building a quiz using OpenAI's playground (ChatGPT)

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

Creating something new but not sure whether to make it FREE or PAID?

Make it "paid"!

A low-cost paid product ($7-$37), will result in a much higher engagement / participation!

You'll also show up for it differently knowing these people believe in you and your content.

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

You need a membership software to run a membership site but you don't need to start a membership site to use a membership software such as DAP.

You can use DAP to create/offer just freebies & one-off products/courses.

Sell it individually first.

Then add membership.

Together, let's make 2023 our best year yet!
The key is to stop saying, "I'll start tomorrow".

Do something that makes you feel great today!

For e.g.:

Send an email to your list.
Publish your first 2023 blog post!

My top tips for 2023:

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

The future of membership sites is a hybrid model where you offer a mix of product, content and services, and course/challenges are going to be a big part of that.

I want to make DAP's course builder the best in the World! Almost there! Some more work to do but we'll get there!

SQB's AppSumo journey ends this Friday ❤️

It's still showing up in the "customer favorites category" 2 months after launch🥰

An incredible journey... I'll write a post about my experience soon! @appsumo

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

You don't have to be an expert in a topic to teach something. You just need to know more than the people you are teaching. As long as you can solve a problem for your audience, you can create and launch a successful course.

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

Marketing becomes easy and natural when you focus on education and not on "buy my stuff".

Share your journey and not just the final product. Share the lessons you learned, what worked and what didn't, truly care about the people you serve, and don't worry about being judged.
.

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

Your audience cannot read your mind. If you want your users to take a specific action, add a compelling call to action.

Make it clear why you want to them to take that action. And reward them for taking the action.

Btw, https://t.co/VeB6RXXZ7U v14 (upcoming release) is 🔥

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

DAP v14 launch is in 2 weeks and I'm not exaggerating when I say, it'll be a game changer for course creators!

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

Love the title of this Smart Quiz Builder review :-)
"Mic drop quiz plugin..."

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

Smart Quiz Builder continues to shine on @AppSumo a month after launch! A couple more weeks left!

It's been great working with an incredibly supportive community that already understands the power of a quiz funnel as a marketing, sales and lead generation tool!

[Veena Prashanth @veenap]

Guess who made it to @AppSumo's Kudo’s Corner this week? 🎉🔥🥰
"This week we want to highlight Smart Quiz Builder since they have been killing it with their reviews and Sumo-lings are loving this plugin!!"
