While I am physically capable of getting out of my chair to resolve this issue and rescue myself some days and in some circumstances, many people cannot.
So please, learn from Bill and what I hope was at least a $300 ticket - please respect the accessible parking rules!
A story for you about "Helen" and "Bill"
Helen drives a wheelchair accessible van with a side entry ramp.
Helen carefully parked her van in a double-wide accessible parking space to allow her to safely get in and out of her vehicle, then went in to the coffee shop...
Either by assuming there's space next to them for a second accessible spot (like "Bill" here) or parking over the yellow cross hatches between spaces (marked to allow vehicles on either side to deploy a ramp using the same space at different times)...
The next coaching training is August 10-11, 2023, and there are still spaces! If you are a coach, therapist, or mental health professional, we'd love to see you there!

Often when clients begin working with a VBIP therapist they are eager to "get to the real work". They want to stop feeling constantly triggered and start feeling better...
"At first, talking about joy was terrifying because it reminded me of how far away joy can sometimes feel..."
So excited to have Erin share about trauma and joy and the VBIP/unmasking process this weekend.

So grateful for @artistAuDH's vulnerability in sharing their experiences with the VBIP.
