@RGIII@SpiderManMovie In my experience, it was a disconnected conglomeration of potential story lines, themes, etc. that didn’t go anywhere. The climax of the film is mostly unrelated to what preceded it in the movie.
@btbeardam@RGIII@SpiderManMovie It was way too predictable (partly due to the trailer, but also the Avengers formula of heroes fighting heroes) …which resulted in Zero tension. It was filled w/ stupid decisions made by powerful people for the plot. The climax of the movie felt unearned to me. Just my opinion.
@300mirrors I agree with nearly all your critiques… so I’m surprised it is still rated so high (numerically). To me, this movie was so disappointing. I love Spidey, and I was leaving the theater I found myself complaining to my wife, “I’d rather watch Spiderman 3.” (Tobey’s)
@PewterReport If at first one-thousandth it doesn't succeed, try try again. I feel like we should bring back Schiano so the players can start practicing bull rushing against the kneel down again.
@LTIRKucherov I just don’t really know if we can get prime Rick Nash…thats gonna require a time machine. We probably aren’t willing to part with another 7th rounder for that.
@BoltsBreakdown Exactly…ideally, we would trade for Larkin to slot into 1C to win more faceoffs for Kuch and then Guentzel bumps down to the Hagel line (which was very good in the playoffs). Then Mil goes with Gourde and then we get a really fun young blood line with James, etc.
@PointSpecialist@BoltsBreakdown I think it can actually be a good thing… having a shut down line with offensive potential is extremely valuable. (That way teams don’t force us into over-playing a defensive-only Gourde line.)
@usmntonly “It essentially aided Belgium's team talk." …this player spoke anonymously because he is clearly a wimp. Seriously, he was concerned about the other team’s motivation/talk track?! No wonder we got embarrassed in that game.
@BoltsBreakdown The only change I’d add is D’Astouz for Gage. James, and Lilleberg are def there too though. I like Gage, but I think he’s going to cost a bit more…so he’d be out of my top 3 RFAs to resign long term for now.
