1. Friday arvo community announcement! As I'm sure you all know by now I like to help promote other projects that implement NFT mining to get the word out about mineable NFTs. POW NFT community member Camel Milk has just launched such a project: Mars Mining Company @MarsMineCo

3. A cool tweak compared to how Doomsday Garden works is that rarer tokens earn ETH faster. Since they are only mintable when supply is high, it creates an interesting incentive to continue mining newer tokens, while burning older ones.

A few people have asked whether the Merge will affect POW NFT. The answer is no, you will still be able to mine NFTs after the Merge. Although it uses the same basic tech as Ethereum does to mine, it's a separate process and POW NFT will be able to continue unaffected.

1. Sunday morning community announcement! POW NFT Community member Camel Milk recently reached out for advice on launching a project that uses NFT mining, and as you all know I'm always happy to share the knowledge, and glad to see the tech being adopted.

5. Follow up to this: The devs made a mistake in the smart contract and the prize was unclaimable. I'm seeing people accusing them of stealing it, but I can confirm it's just locked in the contract forever. They have redeployed the contract and the bug appears fixed.

4. It's a novel use of the tech and tbh it's given me some ideas for my next project. I encourage you to check them out, the code is solid and I think there could be a potential for it to go crazy.

5. As more trees are Planted, mutations can occur and Trees with rarer colour and leaves may appear. The metadata is generated dynamically, and this is also part of the project's scarcity model, as latecomers are more likely to get rarer Trees.
