@DegenRamblers @Fat_Electrician Some newer data centers use glycol in closed cooling loops. Heat exchangers cool the glycol without mixing the fluids, so pollution isn't really the issue. However, power and water consumption, and potential thermal pollution from wastewater discharge are definitely valid cons.

@anyiam_daniel Either a fake story or not in the US. All 50 states and DC have “Good Samaritan” laws giving legal immunity to someone administering CPR in good faith to a victim. Especially if the victim was saved, a court case would be tossed.

@DeviateDefiant @Inevitablewest @metpoliceuk The threat wasn’t yet at 0%. He had something (knife?) in his hand that he was laying on top of. The cops needed to see empty palms before they proceeded. He didn’t cooperate and got kicked in the head for it.

Compliance with commands would have saved him bruises.
