So let me get this right, the MP for my constituency @KimJohnsonMP has been all over TV calling for an end to the 2 child benefit cap but never voted against it. Why?
Kim Johnson, the Labour MP for Liverpool Riverside, who recently told The Independent children in her constituency “can’t wait two years for a decision to be made”, said she had voted with the government “for unity”.
So she chose party unity over child poverty.
