@perplexity_ai @Meta Maybe Google becomes close ended and stops these companies from using their Search API. But that opens up another revenue source for Microsoft. So, I guess Google will continue to offer the API.

The ability to search the web through WhatsApp landing page is going to change the way people search. I think it’s going to be another lever for WhatsApp/Meta to get people to use its platform. Meta just changed how we are going to consume information from the web.
