Woobin shared the full story about ‘Horizon’ 😭💔 it’s actually a song based on CRAVITY’s ‘Road to Kingdom’ journey 🥹🫶 he includes all from ‘Act: I’ until ‘Historia’ literal goosebumps!

🐻: for this album, there’s a very hidden... well this isn’t something i wrote myself, but it’s like a hidden treasure, as they described it. thank you🙏. it’s a song that mr woobin produced himself. ‘Horizon’ reflects the emotions we felt and the memories from when we were doing ‘Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace’. actually, it wasn’t really ‘memories’. since it was written at that time, so it’s a song that was written with emotions of back then.

🐻: as for the lyrics... honestly, i haven’t even shared this with the company because i wanted to talk about it here (on talk live). if i were to share (the story) about it one by one & bit by bit like sauces... the very first line of ‘Horizon’ goes, “Fading away, so far, i try to close my eyes tight, the more i try to grasp it, the more i lose it, the more it slips away”. that first lines, do you know when did i write it? i wrote it while we were doing ‘Sugar Rush Ride’.

🦊: ah, that ‘grasp it’
🐻: that’s right, it was (the scene) where we were sort of luring hyeongjun in, and taeyoung was at the center of it all. when doing and watching that choreography, it felt like hyeongjun was far away over there, we kept trying to get him but he couldn’t be easily grasped. so i wrote that lyrics.

🐻: and then the next part, which jungmo sings “All i need is you, on the edge of a cliff” what’s in that part? ‘Love or Die’~ also ‘Love or Die’ is both the lyrics + title, right? so i expressed ‘Love’ as ‘you’, and ‘Die’ as being ‘on the edge of a cliff’. that’s how i wrote those lyrics.

🐻: also for the third song ‘Overdose’..
🍋: ‘Overdose’ is in there too?
🐻: actually, ‘Overdose’ (part) was written by allen hyung

🐧: oh me?! that’s right, i wrote it~ actually, the thing that woobin missed… rather than missed, something that woobin didn’t mention which are ‘Veni Vidi Vici’ and even hyeongjun’s ‘Act: I’—ii included them into my lyrics. first of all, the line that goes “when i was tired and down” is hyeongjun, and then we came along, took his hand, and performed ‘Veni Vidi Vici’ together (from lyrics “you lifted me up”). and then the line that goes “Even the whispers in my ears were sweet” is ‘Sugar Rush Ride’, and as for ‘Overdose,’ if you watch ‘Overdose’ stage, there was such thick smokes? so there goes the line “Passed through the thick smoke” after that. (as for the line “Running towards the starlight”), we’re chasing our own star, following the starlight, heading toward our own destination.

🐻: and then, right after the final bridge, there’s the line “Anywhere i’ll go, so we won’t be forgotten, if it’s with you, anywhere, i’ll cross time to be there, run away” and that (part) is ‘Historia.’

🐰: did you really include the entire journey?
🐻: yeah i included the entire journey writing the lyrics. and originally, before the second verse became a rap part, there were actually ‘Overdose’ lyrics there but instead the rapper hyungs wrote it, became the ‘Overdose’ part, making it a song with a perfect narrative/story.

🐰: “how dare you?!” 😂 when doing that… eventho it was embarrassing 😂 i tried to do it. the writer said that it would be good if i do this so i did it😂 i was so embarrassed. i did that during rehearsal too. i was really embarassed even during rehearsal and on the live broadcast.

most of the groups on rtk said they want to get close to serim or jungmo so allen wondered if there will be anyone who wants to know him too 😭 he was a little upset at first but during the rtk gathering, thecrewone’s seunghwan approached and talk to him first!! allen is introverted and is not the type to talk first so he was really thankful, especially since seunghwan is younger~
