@TheBengalInc The biggest problem with startups from Bengal is the absolute zero support system - Govt, PE, Venture, Banks, NBFC... No one supports - It's just you yourself fighting because of your passion - Really hope this changes very soon .. experienced this while building @bookmerihotel
@Rahul_J_Mathur Myra is the way forward for MMT to compete with the various D2C models being applied by airlines & hotels
To reengineer their legacy app will mean a humongous task. By incorporating myra they have taken a futuristic stance

@vikpai@ReferRush Loved this.. most founders, entrepreneurs will understand the above pain points.. I can say that I have been able to keep my venture on similar lines..

@alokebajpai Better than before ๐.. will surely have lesser dropouts..
I'm in direct competition to you where I propagate to hotels not to depend upon OTA's too much & have their own tech stack ๐..

@SandipGhose@KPTrafficDept A lot of order can be brought back by just removing the civic volunteers (TMC Cadre) from direct interaction with public. Send them for non essential duties.
@pratimbose@SuvenduWB@SamikBJP Most of these closed factories are caught up in numerous court cases with banks, multiple debtors, other shareholders. To free these land for redevelopment will be a humongous task & time consuming. BJP does not have a choice here. Time is of essence.
@SandipGhose@swapan55@ttindia For many like me personally, it was a vote for independence, a vote for coming out of the suffocating situation TMC had created, a vote for breaking away from paying Tola, the fear of again having to make the kaku happy, the fear of unaccounted muslims taking over kolkataโ
@swapan55@ttindia@swapan55 we look forward to interacting with you as a tech entrepreneur from your constituency. There are many ideas which can make our constituency better. Hope you will soon have a open door meeting ๐
Weโve stripped away the complexity of traditional OTAs to provide a clean, high-conversion booking engine specifically designed for boutique hotels, B&Bs, and guesthouses -- Get the full information how @bookmerihotel can benefit your business --> https://t.co/eYklF4Zg4F
We watched our hotels lose 20%+ to OTA's & built our own Tech Stack. It's now live for 2๐จ๐ฉ โ bkngs flow direct, pymnts settle direct, no middlemen. If you run a boutique group and want the same, here's what we built โ

The math is simple, but the reality is painful: Paying 15-25% commission on every booking is no longer a "cost of doing business"โitโs a drain on your growth.
At https://t.co/fIQxo1pQBb, we built a platform with one goal: Give the power back to the property owner --> 2/-
Every year, India watches 1000s of its engineers pack their bags for Silicon Valley, London, or Toronto. We call it "brain drain" and shrug it off as inevitable.
China had the same problem. Their best minds were scattered across MIT, Stanford, Google. Then in 2008, they decided to do something about it
Enter the "Thousand Talents Plan" - China's audacious bet to reverse the tide. The pitch was simple: "Why struggle on a postdoc salary in Boston when you can lead your own lab in Beijing?"
The numbers were eye-watering. 1 million yuan signing bonus. Research funding of 3-5 million yuan. Free housing. Your kids' education sorted. And here's the kicker - they didn't just want Chinese scientists back.
The Young Thousand Talents program started actively recruiting brilliant minds from India, Korea, Japan - anywhere they could find them. While we were busy celebrating our diaspora's success abroad, China was quietly building its own Silicon Valley.
Fast forward to today: China has pulled back 7,000+ top scientists. They're not just catching up in AI and semiconductors - they're leading.
Meanwhile, Indian parents still dream of their kids getting that coveted H1-B visa.
The brutal truth? Brain drain isn't fate. It's a choice. China chose to fight for talent. What did we choose?

@BakarBansal Issue is raising funds for startups which are not founded by IIM/IIT alumnus. Private funding is mostly friends & family till it lasts. Gov schemes are caught in banking red tape. Even with POC &working Beta model, fundraising is just impossible

Why does the founder of the propaganda website The Wire, Siddharth Varadarajan have US citizenship?
Why does he have support from Western powers and their Indian allies?
