Thunder Bay Chill Joins the Prairies Premier League (PPL).

The Thunder Bay Chill are proud to announce our participation in the Prairies Premier League, marking an exciting new chapter for our club and our community. The PPL is a new pro-am league launching in May 2026, operating under the Premier Soccer Leagues Canada System (Formerly League 1).

This season celebrates the return of our Men’s Team, a program that has been part of Thunder Bay for more than 25 years. Generations of players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters have helped build a tradition that runs deep, and we are excited to see our Men’s program once again competing at the highest regional level.

Alongside this return, we are absolutely thrilled to introduce our new Women’s Team, who will be taking the field for the first time this May. This historic addition reflects our commitment to growing the game, creating opportunities, and providing a clear pathway for female athletes to compete at an elite level. The launch of our Women’s team is a proud moment for our club and an important step forward toward building a more inclusive and ambitious soccer community.

Information regarding the roster, tryouts, coaching staff, schedules, and season tickets will be released in the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming supporters old and new as we begin this exciting journey together.
