Modiba has made corruption in Ekurhuleni his favourite talking point, yet his outrage seems to have very convenient boundaries.

He repeatedly invokes the death of Mpho Mafole and demands accountability. Fine.

But accountability cannot be selective.

There are serious questions that also deserve answers, including tender that Collins Foromo received of the chemical-toilet.

If Modiba believes in transparency, let him explain why these questions receive so little attention.

You cannot present yourself as the great crusader against corruption while appearing to shield political allies from scrutiny.

And when the same person consistently attacks Xhakaza on one side while defending or ignoring allegations involving Malema and the EFF, people are entitled to question whether this is genuinely about fighting corruption or about protecting a political narrative.

If the principle is accountability, apply it universally. If the evidence is there, investigate it. If there is nothing to hide, answer the questions.

Ekurhuleni does not need selective outrage dressed up as anti-corruption activism.

■ Compromising judicial officers (charges get dropped mysteriously)

■ Compromising Police officers (Sgt Nkosi was his ice boy)

■ Looting municipalities (Tshwane Metro reels from his thuggery)

He is now pretending to be a victim of other people.

He read the room. He realized how gullible Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi fanatics are. All he needed to do to buy himself good PR was to say one good word about Mkhwanazi.

It worked like a charm.

The easily impressionable bunch is cheering for him for days on end.

They are portraying him as a poor victim of the system. 🚮

🔺️He is the owner of 2 Total Garage filling stations which is only on paper but physically belongs to Julius Malema
🔺️He has been repeatedly awarded tenders with both Dept. Of Health and Social Development Limpopo with contracts value being over R167million for supply of medical equipments & medical utensils
🔺️In 2011, whilst Julius Malema was still President of ANCYL Limpopo, he scored 2 tenders with the same Dept. Of Health Limpopo for R59million ( One was for R29million & the other R30million )
🔺️He is also allegedly a full-time beneficiary of Feeding Scheme Projects under Dept. Of Education Limpopo
