By prioritizing draft picks over high-priced, holdover talent, these moves laid the exact foundation for the roster Buffalo built around Allen over the following years... we've seen this playbook before as with the Sabres they passed on Tuch and Byron..prioritized draft capital..the Bills didn't make the playoffs the next year but the rest is history...the Sabres have their Allen in place (Dahlin)..put this together with the young talent on this team and they hopefully make the playoffs but the future looks great
