all those long ass essays abt how "irene & wendy are not close"... then i saw this one comment to pretty much sum it up, n i wanted to share it:
[yes, exactly not close at all:
- the moment u learn how to use IG audio, u immediately put ur member's song on ur main page
- the minute u finish work in japan, u rush straight over to visit ur member for prerecording
- u tell this person u're "not close with" that seeing her feels like coming in for a recharge
- u shield this person u're "not close with" from falling building blocks
- on her bday, u spend a whole half hour handwriting a letter of the kind u love writing
- u cook seaweed soup for this person u're "not close with", make the manager watch until she finishes every last drop, even request photo as proof
- u tune in every day to listen to the radio show hosted by this person u're "not close with"
- u remember the exact date this "not-so-close" colleague returned/got rehired
- u dedicate one whole phone to taking photos of this person u're "not close with", make an entire album for her, n pull it up within 3 seconds whenever someone asks for it
- for this person u're "not close with", u give her the most unprecedented support for her very 1st gig/job after leaving the company.
- even while supporting ur other former colleagues, u go out of ur way to buy a separate cake just for this person u're "not close with"
- and then, when this person u're "not close with" performs in a musical, u're down in the audience/backstage crying, tears n everything, that u can't even get near the person.]

ppl on sns run smear campaigns, diss/shade irene & wendy "not being close" etc... as if they know the full extent of their relationship lol. but honestly, we don't need to know everything that happens privately. their actions over the many years speak for themselves, and it's pretty clear they have a meaningful bond.
