@CaseyRoo_ , @RazorsEdgeRaz , and @bansheebotpete are pillars to the community, genuinely wonderful people, and are far too nice to say this, but I will.
The price hike was nearly 300% from $500 to $1400 for ONE 10x10 booth. All three of these amazing artists get TWO booths every year, which would now be $2600.
Blaming the "growth of the GCX Conference" while simultaneously receiving corporate funding reeks of greed.
This is in addition to the severe LACK of promoting Artist's Alley on GCX's side, for which they claim these artists' are making "so much money, traffic, and exposure."
GCX was transitioning from "just a Destiny conference" to an amazing gamer destination vacation conference. I was really looking forward to GCX27, but I can't in good conscience support this until this situation is rectified.
Please @GCXEvent make this right. Especially in an age of combating AI slop, we need artists like Casey, Razor, and Pete.
(and yes I paid the 8 bucks to say all this, so sue me lol)
I attended @GCXEvent primarily to connect with my Destiny friends, but I was blocked for sharing my honest feedback about the convention. It seems my concerns regarding the event's management seem valid after all.
Just because I've been ragebaiting on Twitter for the past year and people don't like me doesn't mean I'm cheating. Now people are using my ban as an excuse to spread misinformation and push a false narrative.
I'm confident my ban will get sorted out, but if you genuinely think I'm aimbotting, you're just coping because you're trash at the game.
I'll play the EXACT same with a monitor cam, hand cam, whatever you want.
We spent the night in the real Blair Witch Forest 😱
We explored multiple abandoned buildings and a ghost town in the same woods where they filmed the movie!
