my prediction :

Fable 5 will stay in the Claude subscription plan

GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra is coming July 7 and it's better, cheaper, and has no crazy safeguards like Fable 5.

If Anthropic makes Fable 5 paid-only, everyone switches to Sol Ultra.

So Anthropic will keep Fable 5 in the subscription plan at limited usage to keep customers from leaving.

@singalen @thecodenamev Let me try this tomorrow. I had a shock with Claude Code today when I asked for a small task, but it planned whole feature refactoring. Crazy.

@singalen @thecodenamev Well, it always pays and respects them. But! Claude gets smarter every week, and finds workarounds to interpret our limitations not as expected,so we have to adjust the rules and add more guardrails and restrictions.
And also the opposite happens - sometimes it just doesn't think
