This narrative is impacting real people. This cannot be forgotten. And it must be changed.

We know that disabled households would need an additional £1,010 each month to have the same standard of living as non-disabled ones.

And that is after benefits like PIP are taken into account.

That's a fact. It's reality.

This kind of sentiment is disgraceful. And fuels a dangerous narrative towards disabled people that we must stand against.

That we're not trying hard enough. That employers are all amazing. And that PIP is too generous?!
