I can understand school or early college students having a fascination for these clowns. But if someone above 20 finds this charade credible (after witnessing the circus by AAP 15 years ago) then he or she is regrettably irredeemable.
Why do people get called champagne socialists? Because for them it’s a feel good cause to help an ego that they’ve done something for society.
When actually they’ve done nothing of the sort.
They want to keep a segment of society struggling so they have an example to use for this cause.
If you genuinely want to help people, create job opportunities as an entrepreneur.
Mentor them to better themselves. Teach to fish >
Social mobility, so your starting point isn’t your life story.
And also, stop assuming the government is going to handle your life for you.
Make things happen regardless of the politics of the day.
Very high praise! However, if one hasn't seen Dhurandar 2 yet and planning to watch it, X is not the place to be - too much excitement and lots of spoilers.
I loved Dhurandhar-1, but The Revenge surpassed the original in both scale and soul.
The writing, casting, technical execution, music, world design and direction are flawless…. But it’s the emotional stakes that really ground it.
The writing manages to weave plot twists that create genuine tension charged with emotion. @AdityaDharFilms, you hit it out of the park. It takes guts to make and release a film 4 hours long. The audience is glued to the seat till the last frame. 🫡
@RanveerOfficial, what a performance man… The sequence with the sister in the shed is a masterclass in acting. From that beginning to the heart-wrenching climax, you mesmerized us both as Hamza and Jaskirat.
@ActorMadhavan garu, you carried the helplessness and frustration of a nation so well that we felt your sucess as ours..
Congratulations to the entire team for the resounding success… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@DalrympleWill@HCI_London A nugget: I had the pleasure of sitting across the aisle to @HCI_London in our flight back from Seville to London in December last year. He was immediately recognizable and I spoke with him briefly. A very admirable person, his presence will certainly be missed here in the UK.
Manmohan Singh ji, former PM and great Indian economist was asking India NOT to buy discounted Russian oil, NOT do Indian rupee trade, and pitching for US dollar hegemony and US led order.
Contrary to his advice, India bought a lot of Russian oil, which was never bought before by previous govts, India did non-USD trade, and India promoted non-US led BRICS, SCO, BIMSTEC etc
But now it is claimed PM Modi is "US compromised" and India has to get "US permission" to buy Russian oil. Anyone with a little bit of intelligence, and who can think for themselves, can understand what was and is the reality.

Correction: No PM of India (who actually called the shots) has done a press conference in over 20 years. Secondly, this obsession with a PM press conference can be very damaging to the brain, as I have witnessed it among folks I used to know well before they turned crazy.
Jan 3, 2014 is the date of the last press conference given by an Indian Prime Minister.
For the last 12 years and 2 months, there has been no presser faced by an Indian Prime Minister.
🚨 SAM ALTMAN: “People talk about how much energy it takes to train an AI model … But it also takes a lot of energy to train a human. It takes like 20 years of life and all of the food you eat during that time before you get smart.”
One can hate a political regime and even wish for its fall, but to undertake a unilateral military extraction against its head deserves nothing but global condemnation and outrage. This isn't a demonstration of power, but an abuse of power.
Breaking News: President Trump said that the U.S. captured Nicolás Maduro, the Venezuelan leader, and that he is being flown out of the country. Follow live updates. https://t.co/4dVueHlPuX
This is shocking and very disappointing. How can @UniofOxford@OxfordUnion allow such an illustrious platform to be used for blatant political propaganda? Such a sad loss of face!
1. Trust the Pakistanis to make a pigsty even out of the @OxfordUnion. And as always, they are genetically incapable of being truthful. So here's the complete story of how this so-called debate played out.
Credit where credit is due - well done to @BCCIWomen and @JayShah for these initiatives, and who better to judge them than one of the greatest women cricketers of all time! #ICCWomensWorldCup
What happened last night is a testament to the fact that when you give wings to a dream, dreams do come true.
The girls were brilliant, but one must acknowledge the support behind this watershed moment, four years of planning and belief. When @JayShah Sir was the BCCI Secretary, the @BCCI introduced initiatives that changed the course of women’s cricket, from equal match fees and the Women’s Premier League to a stronger domestic structure, India A tours, and a thriving U19 pathway.
Now, the @ICC continues to shape the women’s game, with the World Cup being hosted at home and the prize pool raised to 13.88 million dollars, a fourfold increase that shows how far the game has come.
For every person standing behind a young girl who dares to dream of wearing India’s colours, this is a pivotal moment, a reminder that dreams do come true when those dreams get the support they truly deserve. ❤️
Unbelievable turnaround! From struggling to qualify for the KOs, to winning the #WomensWorldCup2025, this was an amazing performance by the entire team! Hope this win does for Indian women's cricket, what 1983 did for mens cricket.
@ShitijKhattar Perhaps they should decide the series based on boundaries scored, or higher runs, or higher wickets. Pick anyone, and the same team would win :)
@somnath1978 Even if we ignore the Aus series, the NZ home series was brutal - lost us a place at the WTC final. Gambhir should be removed if we have a (near) drubbing in this series. He does not come across as a coach with a good temperament.
0 wickets for Bumrah and a result that was predictable yesterday. Do not have high hopes from this series, but this was embarrassing. Unless India strengthens its bowling, we will remain easy pickings for even average opponents. And Gambhir remains unconvincing. #INDvsENG
Need a Bumrah special tomorrow, otherwise it is advantage England. India has two bowlers in its lineup - Bumrah and all others - against a flat track batting bully. #INDvENG
Visa and Mastercard are down 7% and 6% after a WSJ report said retailers are exploring their own stablecoins.
But here’s the thing, retailers don’t hold the power. If customers want to pay with credit cards, retailers have to accept them.
And let’s be honest, consumers love their credit card points.
