दिल्ली के माननीय उपराज्यपाल @LtGovDelhi श्री वी.के. सक्सेना ने आज नेहरू प्लेस मार्केट में 6-मंज़िला मल्टी-लेवल कार पार्किंग का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली की माननीय मुख्यमंत्री @gupta_rekha श्रीमती रेखा गुप्ता जी और माननीय सांसद @RamvirBidhuri श्री रामवीर सिंह बिधूड़ी जी भी मौजूद रहे।

इस अवसर पर उपराज्यपाल ने लोगों से अपील की कि वो इस पार्किंग का अधिक से अधिक इस्तेमाल करें, और सड़कों तथा घरों के बाहर गाड़ियां खड़ी न करें। ऐसा करने से न केवल सड़कों पर जाम लगता है, बल्कि यह सड़क हादसों की भी एक बड़ी वजह बनती है।

इस मल्टीलेवल पार्किंग कॉम्प्लेक्स में 660 कार और 352 दोपहिया वाहन खड़े हो सकते हैं। इसमें 56 पार्किंग स्लॉट दिव्यांगजनों के लिए आरक्षित हैं। ई-व्हीकल्स के लिए यहां अलग से चार्जिंग की सुविधा दी गई है। पूरी तरह से अत्याधुनिक इस पार्किंग को ईको फ्रेंडली बनाने के लिए यहां पर वर्टिकल गार्डन, रेन वाटर हार्वेस्टिंग सिस्टम और Glass Reinforced Concrete Jali का इस्तेमाल किया गया है, जिससे, यहां दिन के समय सूरज की भरपूर रोशनी होगी तथा बिजली की खपत भी कम होगी। यह अत्याधुनिक पार्किंग दिल्ली को सतत विकास का एक प्रतीक भी बनाती हैं।

A FRAI affiliated body of micro , small, medium scale retailers representing North Eastern states, Assam chapter organised a "Workshop On Understanding Retailers' Grievances" on 6th February 2026 at Pacharia, Kamrup, Assam.
More than 50 retailers attended the Workshop.

Mr Sanjay Kumar, Chief Manager, State Bank of India, Dadara Branch and Mr Dipjyoti Hazarika, Deputy Manager, State Bank of India, Dadara Branch addressed the grievances faced by retailers specifically in terms of opening an account, online transactions, seeking loan from banks and various other issues related to documentation.

Mr Dipjyoti Hazarika, Deputy Manager, State Bank of India took a session on technical aspects which retailers majorly face, i.e, the frequent technical failure of POS machine leading to loss of sales and delay in crediting digital payment.

It was an interactive session. Doubts of retailers were clarified.

Inaugurated the 6-storey Multi-level Car Parking at the Nehru Place market, along with Hon’ble CM, Smt Rekha Gupta ji and Hon’ble MP, Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri.

Developed by DDA at the cost of Rs 70 crore, this parking facility is part of the Nehru Place District Centre redevelopment project. This parking facility would accommodate 660 cars and 352 two-wheelers at one point of time, with 56 parking slots reserved for the Divyang persons.

Facilities like automated ticketing system, fire fighting systems, CCTV surveillance, lifts, EV charging points, vertical garden, rain water harvesting system and natural lighting system, not only make this parking space one of its kind in Delhi, but also a symbol of Sustainable Development.

I appeal all commuters and shop owners in Nehru Place to use this facility optimally and restrain from unauthorised parking in the area. Parking at designated sites and ending the menace of unauthorised parking on footpaths, pavements and the RoW of Roads, can provide a lasting solution to Delhi’s persistent traffic and parking woes.
