Hi Twitter! 👋 I’m Prabha.

Deutsche Bank report shows clearly: China outmuscles US
Power Generation: Often a true indicator of a country's industrial capacity.
- China overtook the US around 2010 and has since added more than the US generates in a year
- US output has barely moved in 15 years. EU-27 is below its 2010 level
- My opinion: Power is the true, undeniable moat of China
Data Centers: Power-guzzling data centers are here to further worsen the situation.
- Share of electricity used by data centers in 2025: USA ~4.9%; Europe ~1.9%; World ~1.5%; China ~1.1%
- The US share is ~4x China's, on a grid less than half the size
DB's Forecast:
- Base case global data center load goes from 485 TWh (1.5% of world electricity) to 945 TWh (3%) by 2030
- AI-focused load triples: 155 → 465 TWh
- AI goes from roughly a third to half of all data center power
My Read: The US carries roughly 40% of global data center load on ~14% of global generation. This is not sustainable and AI demand isn't slowing down. Power generation and grid construction are the obvious trades.
Names:
- $GEV gas turbines / electrification
- $CEG $VST nuclear and merchant generation
- $ETN $VRT electrical and cooling
- $PWR $BN $MTZ grid construction / infra assets
- $OKLO $SMR $BE $FCEL for alternative power generation (Speculative)
- Siemens Energy, Schneider Electric for European play
Real race right now: Gas turbines, nuclear restarts or grid buildout. Which one wins?
What looks like “alexithymia” on a Western questionnaire can be a culturally encouraged style of attention and expression. cross‑cultural gap is not biology; it’s emotion socialization.

I keep bringing this up in many conversations, in different ways. Humans are not built for Hyper-Individualism. Treating the self as an isolated project to fix, rather than a part of a larger community, completely misses the point of human well-being.
Our ancestors did not survive by saying, “Let me process this alone in a beautifully bound journal.”
They survived in groups, with closeness, touch, vigilance shared across many bodies, and care woven into everyday life. Modern people like to imagine themselves as radically self-sufficient, but the nervous system seems to have missed that memo.
@PerellClips As of 2026, global scientific output has surpassed 3.4 million annual papers, hyper-accelerated by AI-driven submission pipelines that are completely overwhelming human peer reviewers, shortening research attention spans faster than ever. All this and still wasted efforts
My new favourite by Mark Haddon: I think prime numbers are like life. They are very logical, but you could never work out the rules, even if you spent all your time thinking about them.
It's a fantastic perspective on embracing the chaos and logic woven together.
@DoctorPerin Haha... This reminds me of the article I just wrote. Just like in Tetris, if you fit in too perfectly, you disappear. So be the weird one, I guess!

Originality isn't about staying in one lane; it's about connecting ideas that were never meant to share a room. Here is my recent article on: Apophnia: The Secret Superpower of Knowing Too Many Random Things
