We are academicians with publications in Q1 journals like @BMJ_Open @tandfonline @TheLancet. APCs in these journals are often very high, which is unsustainable in #LMICs without support.

It is not an elective procedure that can be planned. This is inappropriate and can promote cesarian deliveries, which can be life threatening and should be a last resort only if risk to life of mother and child overweights the risk associated with normal delivery. (2)
