Enterprise-managed auth for MCP connectors is now generally available.
For Claude Team and Enterprise admins, authorization is centralized through your identity provider.
For users, tools and data are connected automatically, without the need for individual OAuth.
You can now set Claude Code's output style to Concise.
Claude leads with the result, keeps responses short, and still gives full detail when you ask.
Turn it on in /config → Output style, or set "outputStyle": "Concise" in settings.json.
TaskSpot now runs as a desktop app on Mac and Windows.
The reason to install it is offline. Add and complete tasks with no connection at all, and everything syncs the moment you're back.
Same account, same tasks. The web app isn't going anywhere.

Six months ago TaskSpot had about 100 users.
Today it's over 1,000.
I build this on nights and weekends, one small change at a time. No big launch, no ads budget, no growth hacks. Just people finding it, telling a friend, and actually using it.
Some numbers from 2026 so far:
- 1,000+ people now using it
- 10,000+ tasks created
- 6,000+ tasks completed
That last one is the one I care about most. It's not signups sitting in a dashboard. It's real work people actually finished.
The whole idea was simple: plan today, prepare tomorrow, that's it. No projects, no 47 views, no setup weekend. Turns out a lot of people wanted the same boring simple thing I did.
Still early. Still a side project. But 1,000 people is 1,000 people. Thank you if you're one of them.

Every dev on your team prompts Cursor/Claude Code slightly differently. So the codebase ends up looking like it was written by 6 different people who've never met.
Built CodeContext to fix this, an MCP server that gives your AI tools a shared source of truth for your team's coding standards. same conventions, same patterns, no matter who's prompting.

Stack Overflow's hostile moderation was its biggest weakness when the users were humans.
It's its biggest strength now that the users should be AI agents.
The strict quality standards that drove people away are the exact right filter for agent-submitted content.

Honestly the thing that kept breaking my flow wasn't the work — it was switching apps to manage the work.
So we built MCP into TaskSpot. Now I manage all my tasks straight from my AI assistant without ever leaving the chat.
Game changer for how I work.

Some people unwind with sports. I build small apps.
A few years ago, I couldn’t find a to-do app that felt simple and not bloated, so I started tinkering with one in my spare time.
It just crossed 30 monthly active users.
At least I know there are 30 other people out there who wanted the same thing 😄

@_jones_casey Fair point! It definitely dangles a little — it’s not rigid. But for me (and others), it beats having to carry used bags by hand the whole hike. It's a small tradeoff that makes a big difference on longer walks.
Walks are better when your hands are free.
Tired of carrying used poop bags by hand during walks or hikes? Our simple, durable poop bag carrier makes it easy to stay hands-free.

Made some progress today! I got the initial setup between TaskSpot and JIRA set up. I'm not entirely happy with the UI, but that's a problem for another day.
