To me, everyone who viewed and experienced the #valiant symphony by Maestro yesterday at Chennai and penning it to be surreal. To be honest I was trying to get glued but got disturbed by many movements.. Not in the symphony ..

but popcorn, water bottle, wrap 🌯 hawkers and even couple of star war sword and devil horn selling vendors. Dirty seats for which we paid 1250. audio system which was jarring and was dropping at times.

Can you please look into the below request from Residents of Perumbakkam, Tambaram Corporation, Chennai ?

I am writing to formally request your urgent intervention regarding essential infrastructure improvements for Cheran Nagar, Perumbakkam (600100), part of Tambaram Corporation .

Following our transition from a Panchayat to the Tambaram Corporation, there remains significant ambiguity regarding the timeline and responsibility for providing basic amenities.

Our locality serves over 10,000 residents across 3,000 houses, as well as three schools and a major hospital.

Despite this density, we lack the following critical civic infrastructure:

- Piped Drinking Water: A reliable supply system is needed to replace our current dependence on private water tankers.

- Underground Sewerage System: A permanent drainage solution is required. While some gated communities have an on-site STP, there is no system to discharge treated water, necessitating further sewerage tanker reliance.

- Storm Water Drain Network: A robust network is essential to prevent chronic flooding, as there is currently no drain connectivity in our area.

Although we have raised these concerns with our local MLA, MP, and the local body, the scale of these projects requires higher-level funding and oversight.

I kindly request that you direct the relevant departments to initiate the necessary planning and construction. Thank you for your dedicated service and for your attention to the development of our neighborhood.

வணக்கம். சென்னை, பெரும்பாக்கம் (600100) சேரன் நகர் பகுதியில் அத்தியாவசிய உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்த உங்கள் அவசரத் தலையீட்டைக் கோரி இக்கடிதத்தை முறைப்படி எழுதுகிறேன்.

எங்கள் பகுதி ஊராட்சி அமைப்பிலிருந்து தாம்பரம் மாநகராட்சியுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து, அடிப்படை வசதிகளை வழங்குவதற்கான காலக்கெடு மற்றும் பொறுப்புகள் குறித்து இன்னும் பெரும் குழப்பமே நீடித்து வருகிறது.

எங்கள் பகுதியில் 3,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வீடுகளில் 10,000-க்கும் அதிகமான குடியிருப்பாளர்கள் வசித்து வருகின்றனர். மேலும், இங்கு மூன்று பள்ளிகளும், ஒரு முக்கிய மருத்துவமனையும் செயல்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

இவ்வளவு மக்கள் அடர்த்தி இருந்தபோதிலும், எங்கள் பகுதியில் பின்வரும் முக்கிய உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகள் இன்னும் இல்லை:

1. குழாய் வழி குடிநீர் வசதி: தற்போது நாங்கள் தனியார் தண்ணீர் லாரிகளை (Water Tankers) நம்பியிருக்கும் நிலையை மாற்ற, நம்பகமான குடிநீர் விநியோகக் கட்டமைப்பு எங்களுக்குத் தேவைப்படுகிறது.

2.பாதாள சாக்கடைத் திட்டம்: கழிவுநீரை வெளியேற்ற நிரந்தரமான வடிகால் தீர்வு அவசியமாகிறது. எங்கள் பகுதியில் கழிவுநீர் சுத்திகரிப்பு நிலையம் (STP) இருந்தபோதிலும், சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்ட நீரை வெளியேற்றுவதற்கான முறையான கட்டமைப்பு இல்லாததால், அதற்கும் லாரிகளையே நம்பியிருக்க வேண்டிய சூழல் உள்ளது.

3. மழைநீர் வடிகால் கட்டமைப்பு: எங்கள் பகுதியில் வடிகால் இணைப்புகள் ஏதும் இல்லாததால், தொடர் வெள்ள பாதிப்பைத் தடுக்க வலுவான மழைநீர் வடிகால் கட்டமைப்பு உருவாக்குவது மிகவும் இன்றியமையாததாகும்.

இப்பிரச்சினைகள் குறித்து எங்கள் பகுதி சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் (MLA), நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் (MP) மற்றும் உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்பிடம் நாங்கள் ஏற்கனவே முறையிட்டிருந்தாலும், இந்தத் திட்டங்களின் பிரம்மாண்ட அளவு மற்றும் தேவை காரணமாக, உயர்மட்ட நிதியுதவியும் மேற்பார்வையும் அவசியமாகிறது.
