If you have been wondering about #Supervision for your #School and want to know more @TalkingHeadsOak, @SeonaidBeasley and I have made some videos - we hope you find them interesting https://t.co/XZdi1RMYtb
I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear.
This man sows hate, lies and division.
He is a grifter and a conman.
He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.
RT if you agree
P.s. multiculturalism is great.

It's just so important to see things from a different angle.
So here is how an IT helpdesk experienced the #Crowdstrike outage. 🧵
Please, read this even if you no interest in IT or know nothing about it. It doesn't matter. It's about appreciation for those who keep us going.
@lifeatthenest Many of my current work connections came from Twitter conversations and I do miss that about the way the algorithm works now and am not getting the same from other platforms. So it’s a real joy when you pop up 💕
@lifeatthenest In this new age it has been harder to sustain the connections Twitter fostered but when your posts have been part of my TL I have enjoyed your insights. Be great to hear more about the next stage.
🧵I’m reading lots of very well constructed threads by women trying to explain to men why crashing any conversation about male violence against women with “#NOTALLMEN” is unhelpful and exhausting…
Trouble is, the kind of guys who leap in with #notallmen (and I used to be one)…
A sobering reminder that corporal punishment is NOT banned for 16/17 year olds in supported accommodation.
Every other care setting (children’s homes, foster care etc) explicitly bans it.
We urgently need the @UKLabour to stop the grave mistreatment of teenagers in care.
The extreme Right are very loud rather than very popular. But as long as the media mistake loudness for popularity, the extreme Right will keep getting more airtime than their rivals. That’s not to underestimate the very real frustrations with politics that many of their supporters feel, but it does give us the first very real sign that the march of the Far Right is not as relentless and unstoppable as they would browbeat us into believing. It’ll be hard work and demand full attention, but they CAN be stopped. And that gives me hope.
🚨 THE NEW CABINET 🚨
The Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, has appointed his cabinet.
This new cabinet marks a historic moment in British politics, with a record number of state-educated Ministers and the lowest proportion of privately educated Ministers since 1945 🧵👇
Your observation touches upon a crucial aspect of human psychology: the malleability of moral standards under certain conditions. Indeed, the human capacity to shift moral stands, sometimes under the influence of external pressures like state policy, propaganda, or societal norms, is a significant phenomenon.
The Nazi regime adeptly manipulated these norms through the systematic dehumanization of certain groups, portraying them as lesser or subhuman. This facilitated a disturbing shift in societal moral values, making previously unthinkable acts seem justifiable or necessary. The state's role in this transformation was pivotal, as it not only propagated these ideas but also codified them into laws and regulations, thus normalizing and legalizing evil acts. Individuals found themselves in an environment where atrocious acts were not only legal but often rewarded, further entrenching these behaviors.
This process underscores the dangerous power of dehumanization and the role of authoritative structures in shaping moral norms. It serves as a reminder of the need for constant vigilance and critical thinking in any society to prevent the erosion of universal human rights. Because there are situations when definitions of good and bad can be shifted, eroded, and manipulated.
You can also say that many believed in what they were doing, but at some point they also got the understanding that the world around them - that begins to win the war - does not share this view and will hold them accountable of the crimes they perpetrated.
@AngelaRayner At last- a focus on the next generation and the eradication of the stain on our nation that is child poverty. Gordon Brown adamant that from day 1 a new government can start to make real change.
Byline Times reveals that 136 Reform UK candidates are raising money from a crowdfunding platform that allows donors to keep their address secret and donate from abroad - both of which breach the rules of the @ElectoralCommUK https://t.co/DAe3SFfua6
You’ll be shocked to learn Nigel Farage is using me as a punchbag at today’s rally.
Of course he is. It was my trial established the facts of Arron Banks’s relationship with the Russian ambassador.
Will Labour finally commit to investigating foreign interference in our politics?
