Volunteer dog walker, 1st Trumpet Orchestra of @WNOtweet and orchestra @WeAreTheMU rep, Tutor @rwcmd All views my own and probably not of any of my employers.
I’m proud to be a member of the Orchestra of @WelshNatOpera
After all our trials and tribulations we are still sticking it to both Arts Councils by being excellent. I’m assuming excellence is still a thing 🧐
2 fabulous concerts @RWCMD
Thanks to all our supporters ♥️♥️🎺🎺🎺
Tonight’s concert @RWCMD from the Orchestra of @WelshNatOpera is brought to you by the letter W, for Wagner and Wesendonck. Also the letter D for Dvorak 8. Come and join us at 7.30
10 years ago today my Dad, Alan Wright passed away. I miss him every day, especially his comments when I was practising as a kid. ‘Why don’t you play something with a tune?’ was a favourite when practising long tones or flexibilities 🤣🤣 love you Dad and miss you xx
The orchestra of @WelshNatOpera in the Theatre of Existensial Crisis (thanks to @ace_national and Arts Council Wales) getting ready to welcome over 1000 children to our lunchtime concert. It’s about Birds, so the kids will be ‘flocking’ in anytime soon 😬
It’s the first show of Welsh National Opera’s ‘Tosca’ this afternoon. Not enough people in the orchestra and definitely not enough people in the chorus. Well at least the weather is good………oh 😡😡😡
@WelshNatOpera Come and see us perform Homer Simpson’s famous homage to Lisa ‘Sax-a-m-phone, Sax-a-m-phone’ in Pontio (Bangor) tonight, Brecon tomorrow. Southampton Thursday and Truro on Saturday.

Alex James from Blur talking bollocks on BBC Breakfast. ‘For decades Britain was seen as the land without music’. Apart from Handel’s Messiah apparently. Hallelujah.
After a traumatic few weeks, members of the Chorus of @WelshNatOpera performed in St David’s shopping centre, Cardiff yesterday. Despite the best efforts of the Arts Councils of England and Wales, in the words of Dafydd Iawn ‘Rwyn ni Yma O Hyd’ 🏴🏴🏴
The trumpet section from last nights @RWCMD and Orchestra of @WelshNatOpera side by side concert. A brilliant performance of the Dvorak Cello Concerto by our own @RosieBiss and a suitably epic Tchaikovsky 5. I joined Tom and Daisy for a great night. Da iawn chi 🎺🎺🎺🎺
One of my favourite places for a quiet pint. The Dolphin on the Barbican in Plymouth. Fish and Chips to follow then @WelshNatOpera final performance of Peter Grimes. Not sure which has the most salty old sea dogs. Or Bass for that matter 🎺🎺
