🚨 NOW: Dramatic video shows the rescue of a 15-year-old boy off a remote Alaskan island after he spent roughly two days clinging to an overturned fishing boat.

He was fishing with his brother and cousin. Both of them died. A fishing line caught in the motor and flipped the boat.

HE KEPT PRAYING. 🙏

When the weather turned, the ship’s captain said the survivor was sitting on his knees praying the whole time. Rescuers pulled him from the icy water with signs of hypothermia. Two days. No shelter. Just faith and will while the sea tried to take him too.

Pray for that boy and for the families of his brother and cousin. Miracles do not erase grief, but they do remind you God still answers in the dark.

Alright, first college game experience done. We definitely made some beginner mistakes, like arriving way too late for tailgating (sorry to everyone whose tailgate we didn’t make it to). Staying 50 minutes away from the college town probably wasn’t our best idea either.

Definitely something we need to do better next game. Other than that, it was quite a surreal experience. I don’t really know what I can compare it to. It’s completely different from European sports culture. It’s really just a big party the whole day. In Germany, we don’t have university sports, so seeing how huge it is here is quite hard to comprehend.

Can’t wait for the next game next week already!

Today, among thousands of people crossing the Mackinac Bridge, I watched two firefighters in full gear running that bridge carrying flags.✨🇺🇸✨
And something about it hit me differently.
Carrying the weight of their gear, carrying those flags and carrying something much bigger than either.
A reminder, there are people who willingly carry heavy things so the rest of us don't have to.
It honestly did something to my heart.
We get so caught up in arguing,
complaining, judging, and worrying about things that won't matter someday.
