My first highlighted game of Championship Sunday at ESPN for the End of Summer Slam powered by @elite_sports_events_fl (IG) featured another look at the red-hot Panhandle Prospects 16U, a team that has looked like the most explosive and highest-scoring squad in their bracket, as they squared off with FCA Martin County. The Prospects wasted little time taking control, turning relentless defense into instant offense and racing out to a commanding 26-12 first-quarter lead. They never got off the gas, carrying a 36-23 lead into halftime before stretching the margin to 52-33 after three quarters on their way to a convincing 61-37 victory.

The dynamic duo of #3 @k0killa (IG) and #3 @k0killa (IG)once again fueled the attack with 17 points apiece. @pradastarr_ace filled up the stat sheet as well, adding 6 rebounds and 2 steals while making his presence felt on both ends of the floor. FCA Martin County was led by #11 @GoolgeeBeausejour (IG), who battled until the final buzzer and finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds.

My next highlighted game of Day 2 of the End of Summer Slam powered by @elite_sports_events_fl (IG) was a huge showdown between Eastern Shore Playaz 16U and Panhandle Prospects. From the opening tip, the intensity was through the roof as both teams battled for every loose ball and every possession. Panhandle Prospects came out firing, moving the ball with precision, making shots, and locking in defensively to build a 20-13 lead after the opening quarter. But the scrappy and resilient Eastern Shore Playaz refused to back down, answering every run with one of their own to battle all the way back and send the game into halftime tied at 37-37.

The third quarter turned into a battle of wills with neither team able to create much separation. Every basket was answered, every stop was matched, and the momentum continued to swing before Panhandle Prospects edged back in front 54-52 heading into the fourth. The final quarter was a basketball lover's dream, played at a frantic pace with transition buckets, hustle plays, clutch shots, and momentum changing by the minute. When winning time came, Panhandle Prospects elevated their play on both ends of the floor, coming up with timely stops and converting key possessions to pull away late for an impressive 81-69 victory.

Panhandle Prospects were led by #0 @pradastarr_ace, who completely took over the game with a dominant 27-point, 11-rebound double-double while adding 5 steals and a block. He impacted the game in every possible way, scoring at all three levels, controlling the glass, disrupting passing lanes, and fueling transition opportunities with his relentless defensive energy. Teammate #3 @kokilla (IG) provided the perfect complement with 15 points and 4 rebounds, raining in timely baskets and giving Panhandle another consistent scoring option whenever the Playaz threatened to seize the momentum.

Eastern Shore Playaz were led by #00 @sheemflexo (IG), who refused to let his team go quietly, going off for 24 points while adding 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. He consistently attacked the defense, made difficult shots, and kept the Playaz within striking distance throughout the battle. Teammate #1 @showtimetraa (IG) was a force around the basket, finishing with a strong double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds. His relentless work on the boards created second-chance opportunities all game long, and his physical presence in the paint helped fuel Eastern Shore's comeback efforts despite the hard-fought loss.
