Since morning, I have read all the dailies. Confused and baffled to read the reason the Cong had given to call Bharat Bandh. It shows its desperation and hungry for power. Since two days, nation is shut because of weekend holidays & yet again today Bandh. What a colossal waste!

ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಮಿತ್ರರೊಬ್ಬರು ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

‘ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಬೇಡಿ’ ಎಂದು ವಿನಮ್ರನಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡೆ.

ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಸರವಾಯಿತು.

ಆದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಸಂತಸವಾಯಿತು !
