i love xbox now and i sure hope they don’t do the same thing, even though i don’t have to worry since i do have the non-disc versions of each console from them that i own but it would totally suck if they also ended disc production.

the first video game console i ever owned was a playstation 2. bought almost all the other playstation devices. didn’t get the ps1 because i was born too late and certainly not getting the ps5 because it’s too expensive.

guess i am an xbox guy now.

still very grateful to have the old playstation consoles because of the discs but that’s pretty much the only reason why i am happy with playstation. what they just did pretty much killed all the love that i had for them. not just ending disc games but also deleting movies.

if i had anything negative to say about gta 6, i would say that idarb is still the best video game ever made. 8-bit characters (customizables can be made at no additional cost) playing a combination of basketball and super smash bros with viewers impacting the game in real time.

hopefully rockstar does add memorabilia inside the physical copy to compensate the loss of the disc. i know it definitely feels like the end of an era but the new method’s pros outweigh its cons.

rockstar thought no disc is okay because not only is this method cost effective but also consoles would probably go on fire if it ran a game like this with the disc inside.

The physical version of GTA 6 will only include a digital code.

also, if the disc itself broke, you’re actually screwed because you’d have no way of running the game. you’d have to buy another disc for $80 or $100 more and that’s not fun. hate to say it but i stand with the decision to not include a disc in the physical copy of this game.
