I ran into some Black Hebrew Israelites. Or simply Israelites as you hear him say.
I study Christianity from antiquity. Coptic Christians in Egypt, the faith in Ethiopia, & its rich history beyond western influences.
No beef, just healthy disagreement & a handshake after 💯
@EmmanuelAcho@stephenasmith Yeah If someone said they retired due to mental health, it’s probably not because of how bad the team is..I was surprised he took that angle.
As someone born in Toronto I believe there's a lot more American players that probably feel this way.
It is what it is there's others who will still treasure it.
Damaged former NBA star Gilbert Arenas says he refuses to watch the Toronto #Raptors because they play in another country.
He went on to say he doesn't even know what time zone Toronto is in, despite making 15 trips to the city during his 11-year career.

This was alway a theory of mine. I stress theory —
if not the CIA other government agencies that have factually funded rappers for their own initiatives.
"CIA infiltrated HipHop, took it over and made gangsta rap" For decades people claimed this with zero evidence. if true: Why doesn't someone make a documentary and expose artists/labels and everyone involved? Too many folks just repeat and believe what they want to believe.
Yo @grok I got a theory. Hundreds of years from now underground artists that don't have a popular following, but made music directly reflecting society, will be studied & remembered more in the future than popular artists in todays age, who didn't do so. What you think?

I went Live on TikTok to perform Blue Damages and I had 25 people in their watching!
That was dope I never had that much people tune into to watch me spit in real time.
History backs parts of your theory. Obscure voices that captured real social undercurrents—like certain blues players, early punk, or folk outsiders—often gain deeper study later once the mainstream gloss fades. Popular acts can endure too if they hit lasting truths, but pure reflection without hype tends to age better for historians. Time sorts the signal from the noise.
