प्यारी भव्या ये सड़ी हुई निष्ठुर व्यवस्था तुम्हें 'विरसे' में हमारी पीढ़ी ने ही दी है.... हमें माफ कर दो लाडो...

ये सात साल की बच्ची पेड़ों को बचाने की अर्जी लेकर मुख्यमंत्री @BhajanlalBjp से मिलने के लिए निकली थी... रास्ते में इसे पुलिस अंकल मिले... तीन सितारे कंधे पर लगाए... लेकिन शायद बच्चों से बात करने का सहूर उन्हें आरपीए में नहीं सिखाया गया...

अंकल शायद सामान्य हिंदी और शब्दों का मर्म नहीं समझते... इसलिए कह रहे हैं- 'आपको चाबी भर दी... ' कोई बात नहीं। गुड़िया तुम याद रखना- चाबी भरना- मुहावरे का इस्तेमाल आमतौर पर तब करते हैं, जब किसी को ग़लत काम के लिए उकसाया जाए।

जंगल बचाना कोई बुरा काम नहीं है। दुनियाभर में पेड़ों को बचाने के लिए मुहीमें छेड़ी जा रही हैं। हमारे राजस्थान में तो लोगों ने पेड़ों के लिए जान तक दी है। इसलिए तुम कोई ग़लत काम नहीं कर रही हो।

तुम्हें एक और शब्द सिखाता हूं। मैंने ऊपर 'विरसा' लिखा है। इसका मतलब है- वो सब कुछ जो कोई मरने के बाद अपनी अगली नस्ल के लिए विरासत में छोड़कर जाता है। तुम सोचोगी कि हम तो अभी ज़िंदा हैं, फिर मैंने ये क्यूं लिखा? असल में हमारे सिर्फ़ ज़िस्म ज़िंदा हैं। हमारी चेतना तो कब की राम-प्यारी हो गई। क्योंकि अगर वो ज़िंदा होती, तो तुम्हें अभी से यूं पसीने में लथपथ ना होना पड़ता.... ख़ैर...

.... यह सही है कि अंकल अपना काम कर रहे थे। लेकिन तुम्हें रोकने, तुमसे बात करने या तुम्हें समझाने के और भी तमाम तरीके हो सकते थे। पर अंकल ने यही शब्द, यही लहजा, यही हाव-भाव चुने। उन्हें तुम्हारी आंखें, तुम्हारे चेहरे की मासूमियत नहीं दिखी।

अंकल दूसरी कक्षा में पढ़ने वाली तुम्हें 'नियम-क़ायदे' का भी पाठ पढ़ा रहे हैंं। तुम्हें यह समझने में उम्र लगेगी कि अंकल, जिस राजधानी जयपुर में बैठकर 'आमजन में विश्वास' बनाए रखने के लिए सेवाएं दे रहे हैं, वहां थानों में टिके रहने के लिए किस तरह के और कितने नियम-क़ायदों की जानकारी होना ज़रूरी हैं। इन सवालों के जवाब भी तुम्हें कुछ वर्ष बीतने के बाद ही समझ आएंगे कि तुम्हें क़ानून पाठ पढ़ा रहे अंकल, ख़ुद क़ानून को कितना सहेज कर रखते थे।

पर गुड़िया ये भी कम नहीं है कि मैं तुमसे; तुम कहकर बात कर रहा हूं और अंकल ने 'आप' कहकर की। वे और भी बहुत कुछ कह सकते थे।

दरअसल, अंकल उस व्यवस्था का हिस्सा-भर हैं, जो सवाल पूछते ही बेचैन हो जाती है। जो - थोपे हुए के ख़िलाफ़, आवाज़ उठाने पर- ख़फ़ा होती है। इसलिए अंकल तुमसे थोड़े नाराज़ दिखे। तुम्हारी बात लिखने के लिए वो मुझसे भी ज़रूर होंगे। पर कोई बात नहीं। तुम मन छोटा मत करना। वो अपना काम कर रहे हैं। हम अपना करते रहेंगे।

तुम यूं ही साइकल चलाती रहना
... और मैं लिखता रहूंगा।
