🚨 Noida Authority की लापरवाही ने ले ली 28 वर्षीय आर्यन की जान।

बृहस्पतिवार सुबह करीब 9 बजे तेज बारिश के दौरान Noida के Sector-58 स्थित एक फैक्ट्री में काम पर जा रहे 28 वर्षीय आर्यन की खुले और असुरक्षित नाले में गिरने से दर्दनाक मौत हो गई।

आर्यन, जो Sector-22 के चौड़ा गांव के रहने वाले थे, सड़क पर पानी जमा होने के कारण रास्ता न दिखने पर, नाले के ऊपर ढकी हुई कंक्रीट की स्लैब से होकर पैदल अपनी फैक्ट्री की तरफ जा रहे थे। तभी एक ढीली और ठीक से फिक्स न की गई स्लैब पलट गई और वह सीधे नाले में गिर गए।

उनके साथ मौजूद दोस्त शिवम और स्थानीय लोगों ने काफी मशक्कत के बाद आर्यन को नाले से बाहर निकाला। मौके पर CPR भी दी गई, लेकिन उनकी हालत में सुधार नहीं हुआ। जिला अस्पताल ले जाने पर डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। पुलिस ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है।

अगर नाले की स्लैब सुरक्षित होती, समय-समय पर निरीक्षण होता और जलभराव की समस्या का समाधान किया गया होता, तो शायद आज आर्यन ज़िंदा होते।

एक और परिवार उजड़ गया... अब इस मौत की जिम्मेदारी कौन लेगा?

SC ST upliftment के रास्ते में सबसे बड़ी बाधा इन्हीं के वो लोग हैं जिनके माता पिता reservation लेकर IAS IPS Doctor Engineer Professor बन चुके हैं..ये लोग न गरीब हैं न शोषित न वंचित..लेकिन फिर भी पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी reservation का इस्तेमाल करते रहते हैं..क्यों नहीं ये creamy layer reservation छोड़ देती ताकि इन्हीं की जाति के किसी वाक़ई ज़रूरतमंद बच्चे को फायदा मिल सके?2015 के UPSC में इसकी मिसाल दिखी थी..अरे आप सक्षम हैं..बढ़िया स्कूल कॉलेज में पढ़े हैं..आपके माता पिता अधिकारी बन चुके हैं..अब किसी और गरीब दलित बच्चे को आगे आने दीजिए न! ये सच कड़वा है इसलिए इसको दबाने के लिए फालतू के कुतर्क किए जाते हैं..

I have moved my base to New Delhi recently, a city very close to my heart.
But I have been feeling really underwhelmed.
During my college years at St Stephen's, winters were beautiful and we used to look forward to foggy days. But it's not the same anymore. I wake up every morning feeling my throat is scratchy. I feel sick every time I step out - and you can't just stay at home in the air purifier all day. 
Delhi air is a real problem and I feel we, as citizens, are not doing enough to turn things around.

Can we do something?

As a member of India's startup ecosystem, I feel we can do a lot more than just building our ventures. We have the sharpest minds solving some of the most complex problems - day in and day out.
Can we take a few hours out and spend time in brainstorming solutions for some of the most pressing challenges that we face as a society?

For now, if you are someone who lives in Delhi or has loved-ones who live here, air pollution has become an existential crisis.

This is what I am proposing:

1: Let's get together in Delhi and brainstorm some ideas on what it is that citizens can do to respond to this crisis. Just ideas and brainstorms, no cameras, no audience.

2: We compile ideas and solutions in a document and we present it to the relevant authorities. We also tell them specifically what we can do to help them.

3: And if the authorities want, we volunteer some time and resources that may be needed to fix this challenge.
