But sure, he'll draw the line at Amupitan rigging the elections, that's when he'll swing into action and do bible magic. Osim Nebuchadnezzar. Be serious.
you’ll think a man is smart until you start having conversations about politics, religion, social issues and women’s rights. ignorant af. surface level as hell
really funny & ironic that nigerian males are gathered in thousands to broke shame women for owning small apartments/properties, but are the same set of ppl that cry about their poverty every day & about how it’s not “easy for young ppl in nigeria” i guess they’re all rich now?🧐
Under capitalism, money is gendered. So when people offer the rather useless rebuttal that women do not need to “decenter money in order to decenter men” as long as they make their own money, they fundamentally misunderstand the argument. Men are still, systemically and culturally, treated as the default arbiters of financial power. Even when women acquire wealth of their own, the social conventions, expectations and power relations surrounding money remain deeply gendered.
Women making money does not, in itself, challenge the gendered logic through which money operates. This is precisely why decentering men requires us to interrogate our relationship with money, rather than treating financial independence as though it were synonymous with systemic liberation.

I think women will be in a better place when we start admitting how delusional we are about dating and money.
Like on this app people were twisting into pretzels to defend a celeb that was dating a fraud star she knew about and claiming that her dating the fraud star just to depict a “kept” lifestyle to her clearly gullible audience was not ideal. Thats when I started to realise how deeply delusional and attached to money a lot of us were.
Like in which world is it ok to optimise your dating pool for a man who doesn’t ask what you need money for before giving you? You don’t you ask what people need money for before giving them? Or is the concept of having your own money strange to you? A lot of you want to date fraud men, men who launder money, sell drugs or do yahoo but you also can’t openly admit it because you have positioned yourself as “progressive”.
What we don’t see is the amount of things you have to do to yourself and other women constantly in other to date that demographic. The amount of harm they bring to the settings. Now you’re in church going viral for telling your pastor that you broke up with a doctor because he didn’t want to spend money on you like he’s a thief. It’s the same way they will do that “he’s a 10 but he’s a married man or yahoo boy” and the women will all stay. Or marry an already married man for shared resources then start doing content to convince us that they are happy. I’m wary of women like these because they typically never have anything more going for them, they look down on you for having a job or business but can only have things when a man in their life buys it for them. because the pursuit of such men in Nigeria is a full time job. And if you have other interests outside “man” you won’t be able to be friends with girls like that.
This is what i mean by to ‘decenter men, you have decenter money’ but you crazed fools want to act obtuse. Despite her having her business that generates money she considers it incomplete until she has this man that is endlessly giving her money. why? because UNDER CAPITALISM MONEY IS GENDERED and heterosexual romantic expectations rely on the gendering of money (2) She clearly is not yearning for just any man! But a man that is freely giving. Men and Money are not seen as separate forces under this system
