Most developers are using Claude Code wrong.

Security checks, enforced rules, automation

4️⃣ Agents → specialized sub-agents
Break complex tasks into parallel workflows

Once you structure these properly, something interesting happens:

Claude stops behaving like a chatbot.

It starts behaving like a real AI dev system.

Most engineers miss this because they jump straight to prompting.

But the difference between average output and production-level results usually comes down to setup.

Three weeks ago I would've found this bug in a support ticket, two days too late, from an angry user.

Instead I woke up to a PR titled "fix: checkout crashes when charge API returns 500."

No ticket. No Slack message from support. No me digging through logs at midnight trying to reproduce something I couldn't even see happening.

Something had already watched the session, caught the crash, traced it back to the exact line, and fixed it — while I was asleep, having no idea any of it happened.

That's the part that's hard to explain to people who haven't felt it. It's not that the bug got fixed faster. It's that I never had to know it existed to begin with.

For years the job was: wait for something to break, then go find out why. Now the thing that used to be my job is just... handled. Quietly. Before it becomes a story I have to explain to anyone.

I keep waiting for the catch. There isn't one yet.

Elon Musk just said something wild: AI labs shouldn't wait for regulators to catch dangerous models. They should watch each other

His logic — rivals have no incentive to do each other favors, so their scrutiny is more honest than any outside regulator's.

Now zoom out from AI labs to your own product.

Nobody's watching your app that closely either. Not your team, not your users complaining in support tickets, not a dashboard nobody opens.

Human Behavior is that same idea, pointed inward — an agent with zero incentive to look away, watching every session, catching what breaks before it becomes a disaster, before a user even complains.

Musk's whole argument is that self-policing beats no policing.

Most products right now have no policing at all.
