From living your incredible life on the big screen to witnessing you receive, Arjuna Lifetime Achievement Award, at Rashtrapati Bhawan today, It felt surreal. Every moment was like a dream. Now our film #ChanduChampion, seems to have found its perfect ending (it started from you fighting for Arjuna award) but knowing you, an unstoppable champion, this can’t be the climax… Keep inspiring @murlikantpetkar Sir. Feeling so proud to be present in this moment framed in history with you and the honourable President of India @rashtrapatibhvn 🇮🇳🙏
Salute to you and congratulations to all the Arjuna awardees♥️
As the 2024 season ends, I look back on everything I’ve learned through the year - about improvement, setbacks, mentality and more.
On Monday, I injured myself in practice and x-rays showed that I had fractured the fourth metacarpal in my left hand. It was another painful challenge for me. But with the help of my team, I was able to participate in Brussels.
This was the last competition of the year, and I wanted to end my season on the track. While I couldn’t meet my own expectations, I feel this was a season in which I learned a lot. I am now determined to return, fully fit and ready to go.
I want to thank all of you for your encouragement. 2024 has made me a better athlete and person. See you in 2025. 💪

Vinesh, you are a champion among champions! You are India's pride and an inspiration for each and every Indian.
Today's setback hurts. I wish words could express the sense of despair that I am experiencing.
At the same time, I know that you epitomise resilience. It has always been your nature to take challenges head on.
Come back stronger! We are all rooting for you.

Welcomed @Sharmistha_GK ji to @RishihoodUni. Recollected the time we spent with her father (Late President Hon'ble @CitiznMukherjee) when he flagged off the Good Governance Yatra!
Visited my staff's village in #UP. Life has improved a lot with new roads and facilities. They want more good jobs for their children. Singapore is here to walk this skilling journey together with India. HC Wong @myogioffice@jayantrld@MSDESkillIndia#SkillIndia#NDA 3.0
Hey Jimmy!
You've bowled the fans over with that incredible 22-year spell. Here's a little wish as you bid goodbye.
It has been a joy to watch you bowl - with that action, speed, accuracy, swing and fitness. You've inspired generations with your game.
Wish you a wonderful life ahead with good health and happiness as you put those new shoes on for the most important spell of your life - the time with family.

As James Anderson is about to end his international career I wanted to write this thread.
It’s about this inswinger to Marlon Samuels that trapped Marlon plumb in front in the Bridgetown test in 2015.
It’s one of my favorite spells of fast bowling in Test cricket .

For me, what makes India’s win special is that in an era of bullies, the nice guys have won. Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid. Both have been gentlemen, Rohit never dropped his dignity in the face of all the controversies thrown at him, and he led in a way that's natural to him: being a leader, a team player, a buddy in the locker room.
Think about it: in every field, kids are growing up aspiring to be hyper competitive, hyper aggressive, intolerant bullies. In sports: the brash football culture is more attractive to the gentlemanly kabbadi culture. In industry: kids want to be like Steve Jobs, or some aggressive Indian tech start-up founder, rather than like cultured founders who built empires like Jamnalal Bajaj. In politics, they aspire for Trump, not George W Bush or Vajpayee or Manmohan Singh who were thorough gentlemen. Every part of the world -- sports, politics, corporate, we're seeing hyper competitive, intolerant bullies win.
The world today is telling us it's easier to win if you are an insensitive, transactional, egotistical bully. Yesterday, the gentlemen won. They showed that it's possible for nice guys to win as well.
Postscript: Speaking for all us "nice guys" who watched the recent US presidential debate, we needed a nice guy to win somewhere in the world! To believe that decency can also deliver.
In a few days, Rahul Dravid will quietly slip away back home, and after years of service to Indian cricket, content to spend time with family. He'll probably sneak into a ground once in a while to watch his son Samit play age group cricket. If, while in those verdant surroundings, his thoughts turn back to Barbados, I hope they are happy thoughts!

6th January 2008, India loose to Australia in a very controversial test match at Sydney . Harbhajan Singh was almost banned from 2 tests (due to Monkey Gate) and India were on the verge of pulling out of the series. Amidst of all these things India were scheduled to play Australia in the third test in Perth, this was India’s chance for redemption not only terms of levelling the series but in terms getting back the pride.
