2 posts a day for 10 years.
A lot of posts in there are philosophy that came out of thinking exercises.
I never really did this to grow my account. Watching how people think online, trying to make sense of all the spectrums, predict the future - it was simply fun.
I normally would get more engagement when I post on LinkedIn, but X makes me think more, hence X has always been where I reside.
Devyani International and Jubilant FoodWorks both seem to be uninterested in doing business anymore.
Went to a Pizza Hut - they said 20 minutes waiting time to prepare the order, while there were just 2 customers in store.
Went to Dominos - these guys weren't able to take an order because the software was not working on their machine. They said order on app but the app is total chaos in terms of UX.
And this is in Baner, Pune, quite an area that would demand efficiency?
Customers walking into the store and you folks can't serve them! I am quite curious of their financial statements now.
@saxenasaheb My assumption is that Duolingo is not for language learning, it actually targets people who want to be fluent enough for casuals like trips, social, etc. And that's the biggest TAM anyway, actual language learning TAM would be quite niche.
@ItsAditya_xyz Governments across the world incentivise risk taking - so yes not really a glitch.
If a person is able to create work for themselves - it also sheds the load off governmental policies.
@ItsAditya_xyz Mathematically speaking the benefit is 80% tax reduction, if one decides to double their risk, spend more time in sales and marketing alongwith their field of expertise.
What I think on this is that solving the problem is the biggest goal. If you are able to find nice people to solve successfully with, good enough. But otherwise solve it irrespective of the nature of people because solving the problem was itself the primary goal.
So if you take services from god or devil doesn't matter - if the goal is on track and met.
Applying to jobs on Workday is extremely frustrating. They are not able to accurately parse the resumes.
Aparently, for "Pitch Like This", I am currently building a feature that helps me parse resume, identify and store metadata and relationally map content that can be vector embedded.
So many things are involved,
- Parsing strategy
- Chunking strategy
- Relational mapping between metadata and chunks
- Retrieval strategy
- PII Safety, token management, guardrails, etc
Maybe I should share the architecture later with Workday folks so they can make their system better ๐ค
Look how much better the Image Generation in ChatGPT performs compared to Nano Banana 2 in AI studio.
It still messed up the free body diagram, but ChatGPT figured the rest out perfectly.
So the definition of modern homes would be levelling up drastically:
1. These homes would have their own GPUs and Storage Servers that are scalable on demand
2. So the homes can run an Intelligence model and connect it to local appliances even humanoida or swarms
3. These homes would provide local memory storage with backup capabilities to cloud. You place your phone at a specific spot to back it up.
4. Full voice interaction with the house and you can actually tell it to run a game on your TV or build some software for you or render some videos for youtube that you just shot on your phone
5. Solar Panels would be a core feature of these houses as considerable energy would be necessary. But can be efficiently managed by auto scaling down systems when not in need.
6. Internal Wifi network grids also become crucial and potential bottlenecks. Internet is required when we are pulling data from outside our house but for any communication within the inbuilt intelligence that will work on internal networks.
7. Security: It could be more secure from the context that data remains localised but also a security risk that a single physical target can now be attacked.
So while we are assuming that Civil Engineers do not have any direct AI impact - the indirect impact we can see direct here. Building homes would become more Network-Energy-Robotics-Software expertise, this is where major percentage of building cost will go.
