The profile picture on my portfolio has a stop motion animation hidden behind it. I dance outside of design, and I wanted a small, quiet way for the site to show that side of me too. How I made it is a bit of a story, so here's the video.

Remember the glowing seeds that land on Jake in Avatar? I made them land on you.

Today, Heidi (@tryheidi) is announcing US$340M in new funding: a US$100M Series C led by our very first believer, @blackbirdvc, alongside @phxcrt, @p72vc and @HeadlineVC and a US$240M growth investment from @generalcatalyst's Customer Value Fund.
The round values Heidi at US$900M.
Five years ago I sat in a hospital cafe in scrubs after a night on call and pitched Blackbird. I worked with so many incredible doctors burdened by the work created from our care. I believed that every clinician would partner with AI, to handle that workload so they could get to the next patient.
Where Heidi is today is way beyond what I could have imagined then. Our team has grown to almost 600 people. We’ve supported over 175 million patient visits in some of the world’s leading and most highly regulated healthcare systems. That only comes from an incredibly talented and hard working team driven by the mission to double the world’s healthcare capacity.
In this next chapter Heidi is becoming the AI Care Partner I imagined. Handling all the work that a visit creates for every clinician and extending what we can accomplish in a day.
Next week we’ll show you what that looks like. It’s what we’ve been building towards since the very beginning.

Our Founder & CEO, @awaisahmedna, sat down with @ashleevance and the @corememory team for a conversation spanning space, Earth observation, and what it takes to build planetary infrastructure.
A great afternoon sharing Pixxel’s journey, where we’re headed next, and the ideas shaping the future of space and Earth intelligence. 🌍
I am pleased to see that Ant’s new Claude Code has a version of background computer use on par with the version from Codex from last May this year. Nice work!
Shipping great features first turns out to be a great way to encourage other labs to ship too. We will continue to do this until other labs pay more attention to shipping. This is good for everyone and there is a lot of room left to go!
We solved computer use in practice for GPT models about four months ago. But computer use is a significantly awesome thing no matter what model you use, and it is important that the industry similarly spends more effort to train their models to be great at computer use, among other elements of model capabilities.
As models become more capable and central to businesses and economies, the value of computer use only increases. We should be taking it seriously, and doing the right thing for our customers and the world.
