[UPDATE: 18th June 2026]
@LGIndia Today marks 29 days since purchase, and no senior representative from LG has ever contacted us. We still have zero visibility on the status.
The pattern of ground-level evasion continues unabated. On 16th June, my father received a call from your service engineer, Mohammad Rehan. He claimed the internal request had been shifted to a "replacement" status and explicitly demanded the cancellation code "as per the process." When my father requested that this statement and process be provided in writing via email, the engineer abruptly hung up the phone.
This is the 3rd documented instance of your field staff attempting to manipulate backend metrics by pushing for a cancellation code without resolving the underlying defect. It is clear that your internal mechanisms are being used to delay and exhaust the consumer rather than address a legitimate product failure.
Let me be entirely unambiguous: the only acceptable resolution is a full refund of Rs. 60,450.
Mr. MD #HongJuJeon, I urge you to look at the severe lack of transparency in how your teams operate. I am giving your leadership team a final opportunity to intervene and audit this case honestly. If LG is incapable of executing a direct refund for a documented defective machine drawing 8.5A current, please let me know so I can stop wasting time on your internal escalations and immediately evaluate formal legal routes to claim full compensation for product failure, unfair trade practices, and the prolonged harassment caused to my family.
The choice to resolve this professionally rests entirely with your senior management.

Hey @LGIndia, how long does an executive office intend to ghost a consumer family while an entire household suffers? It has been 22 agonizing days since we purchased a brand-new, latest-launched 2026 model LG Split AC (Model: AS-Q20ENZE) along with a 4-year Gold AMC from your authorized showroom, SHRI MANGLA ELECTRONICS (Kamla Nagar, Delhi - 110007).
The total financial commitment for this transaction was Rs. 60,450, with the exact breakdown as follows:
a. AC Cost: Rs. 46,200
b. 4-Year Gold AMC: Rs. 11,300
c. Freight Charges: Rs. 150 (paid in cash)
d. Installation Charges: Rs. 2,300 (paid to your technician Mr. Sagar via UPI)
e. Old AC Uninstallation Charges: Rs. 500 (Mr. Sagar explicitly asked me to pay this in cash)
What should have been a premium consumer experience has instead exposed an absolute collapse of LG’s product quality assurance, a total breakdown in corporate governance, and a shocking level of ground-level fraud.
Here is the precise, undeniable chronological timeline of how LG India treats its consumers:
a. 21st May (The Core Defect): The unit was installed by your team led by Mr. Sagar. The moment the machine was turned on, the outdoor unit emitted a severe, disruptive humming noise. Your technician dismissed it with a technically absurd justification that a new machine "needs a day of running to settle."
b. 23rd May (Gross Quality Control Failure): Engineer Mr. Deepak visited. Upon inspection, he dismantled the outdoor unit to check if the factory had forgotten to install the compressor insulation—a staggering admission regarding LG's manufacturing standards on a brand-new 2026 model. During diagnostic testing, I observed his phone logging an input current drawing 8.5 Amperes in normal cooling mode vs the specified 5.2 Amperes. I took a photo of this log as concrete evidence and shared our noise recordings with him. He casually blamed the gas and claimed it required a total refill on a day-old machine.
c. 24th May (Internal Disconnection): Customer care had zero records logged from the previous day. A second engineer, Mr. Sunny, was dispatched. He completely contradicted the first engineer, stated the gas was fine, admitted he lacked the authority to issue a replacement, and promised his seniors would call. No senior ever contacted us.
d. 30th-31st May (The Forced Field Experiments): Engineer Mr. Neeraj tightened a screw (which changed nothing) and blamed the structural angle irons on which the outdoor unit is installed. On 31st May, your team uninstalled the AC and re-installed it at a completely different location purely to fulfill LG’s testing procedures. The severe humming noise persisted. Having conclusively proved the unit was defective, they recorded video evidence, stated that the factory replacement process had been formally initiated, and bolted the defective unit back onto our wall.
e. The Systemic Fabrication & Corporate Fraud: Parallel to this ordeal, your ground teams began actively manipulating your backend CRM system to protect their internal metrics. We began receiving automated WhatsApp alerts from LG aggressively pushing us to share a cancellation code for Ticket No: RNP260523059498, citing completely fabricated reasons: "Customer post-poned engineer's visit" and "Customer requested cancellation." This is a blatant, shameful lie. We never postponed a visit, nor did we ever request a cancellation.
f. 3rd June (The Breaking Point): After days of silence, I called Engineer Neeraj thrice; he completely ignored my calls. I called customer experience, who had zero updates except a "pending" status. When I demanded an escalation number, they routed me to the assigned local service center. The representative there was entirely clueless, flatly refused to check my case history in the system, and had the absolute audacity to tell me he was "busy with lunch" and to call back later before hanging up.
g. 3rd June (Escalation to MD Office): Utterly fed up with this mockery, I wrote directly to the LG MD Office on this very same day, providing the full name, showroom invoice, and contact numbers of every employee involved. I was formally acknowledged via email and explicitly promised a call from the Head Office within 24 hours. To this date, no one from your head office has ever called.
h. 5th June (The Empty Escalation & Shameless Pressure): We received an official message stating that our complaint was registered under Escalation No: VCP260605013235. On that exact same day, an LG engineer named Harish called my father. Instead of providing a resolution or a timeline for the promised factory replacement, he shamelessly pressured my father to share the cancellation code over the phone to clear the ticket from their system. We flatly refused and did not share any cancellation code with him.
i. 7th-8th June (The Social Media Brush-off): I DM’ed your social media team on X to demand an urgent update. On 8th June, I received a completely automated, copy-pasted generic response stating that the relevant team would be in touch shortly.
The Current Crisis:
Today is 11th June. It has been 22 days since purchase, 7 days since the MD Office broke its 24-hour promise, and we still have zero visibility on the status.
Meanwhile, our entire family—including super-senior citizens nearing 90 years of age—is facing severe sleep deprivation because of this defective, loud noise-making machine. Furthermore, we are all living under constant anxiety regarding whether a machine drawing 8.5A instead of 5.2A poses a severe electrical or fire safety hazard to our home.
Mr. MD #HongJuJeon, we did not pay a premium amount of Rs. 60,450 to have our home treated as an R&D experimental lab, nor did we pay to be harassed by deceptive field staff trying to force complaints shut on a flagship product.
I have attached the following evidence directly to this post:
1. The official product specification plate proving the unit is strictly rated for 5.2 Amperes.
2. The photo of the technical diagnostic log taken by your engineer on 23rd May showing the unit drawing a dangerous 8.5 Amperes.
3. Screenshots of the automated WhatsApp and SMS messages showing your team fraudulently trying to force us to share a "cancellation code."
Given the total breakdown of ethics, technical competence, and quality control, we completely reject any repair or replacement. We demand an immediate, full refund of our money (Rs. 60,450) and the prompt removal of this defective appliance from our premises.
Act on Escalation No: VCP260605013235 and Ticket No: RNP260523059498 immediately. The consumer account is registered under my father's name. I have already provided the full list of staff phone numbers to the MD office on 3rd June, and I am prepared to share them via DM here the moment an actual senior corporate authority with real power to execute our refund contacts me.

@JioCare Kindly put the complete truth out here in public, Sharath: you called me and explicitly stated that Jio is denying the refund of my remaining advance balance, citing your "policy."
You had no answer for why a customer should forfeit their money under a policy that apparently protects ground staff who fabricate fake visit logs and leave professionals without internet.
Retaining a customer's upfront, advance payment while completely failing to provide the service they paid for isn't a "policy"—it is an absolute scam.
Service Request Number: SR000037KNPB
Pure corporate gaslighting and a complete failure of service accountability by @JioCare.
My Jio Fiber internet has been completely down since the evening of June 4, 2026, due to a faulty router that is constantly rebooting, blinking a red light, and making a faint, consistent sparking/ticking noise. As an IT professional whose daily production and billable deliverables are entirely dependent on stable connectivity, I am losing critical operational hours. I have been continuously following up to get a basic resolution, but Jio’s on-ground and digital support teams have treated my request like a joke.
Here is the exact timeline of events showing how Jio handles paying customers:
June 4th (Evening) & June 5th (Early Morning): The internet went down on the evening of June 4th. I immediately called your customer service (18008969999). The executive performed remote testing, which failed to resolve the issue, and advised a hard pin-reset using a small pin at the back of the device. She explicitly mentioned that if the issue wasn't resolved even after the reset, I should call back. I complied with the steps, but the hardware fault persisted. Because it was already around midnight by the time these troubleshooting steps were completed, the formal complaint was technically registered on the morning of June 5th.
June 5th (Ticket SR000037KNPB Raised): A technician visit was scheduled for 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Field engineer Ravi Rajput called me at 10:21 AM, promised to arrive in 15 minutes, but never showed up. Instead, he unilaterally marked my service request as "ON HOLD." When I tried following up from my registered number, he rejected my calls 3 times. However, he wasn't too busy to answer when I called from an alternate number. When asked why he was dodging my calls, he casually claimed he "got busy." He didn't even bother to inform me, arrogantly stated that replacement routers were "out of stock," and dismissively told me he didn't know who would look after my request.
June 5th (Escalation to Appellate Number 18008893999): The representative assured me action would be taken against Ravi Rajput's behavior and assigned a new engineer, Kuldeep Singh, for a 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM slot. He called at 4:47 PM, but due to severe network audio issues on his end, I explicitly told him I would call him right back. I returned his call thrice immediately after; he ignored all the calls and instantly placed my ticket "ON HOLD" yet again without stepping foot on my premises.
June 6th (Midnight Email to Appellate): Frustrated, I emailed the Appellate authority ([email protected]) around midnight. Instead of escalating, they lazily forwarded it back to basic care ([email protected]), claiming they "received the email without a Service Request reference"—despite the SR number being explicitly written right there in the email.
June 6th (The DM Gaslighting & Reassignment): Following this, I reached out to @JioCare over DM on X to report the ordeal. Their response was shocking and completely baseless—they claimed the request was kept on hold as per my request. I directly questioned them: Why on earth would an IT professional actively chasing customer care ask to put their own ticket on hold? After this, they simply reassigned the ticket right back to Kuldeep Singh—the same engineer who refused to visit yesterday.
June 6th (Current Status): I checked the MyJio app just now, and predictably, Kuldeep Singh has put my ticket "ON HOLD" for the third time today.
Jio has completely failed in its duty to provide basic operational service, hardware maintenance, and professional accountability. I am completely done dealing with this incompetent, broken support cycle.
I have already decided to switch to Airtel. I demand that Jio terminate my connection immediately and issue a full refund of my remaining advance balance.
I highly recommend everyone looking for stable broadband and professional dignity to completely avoid #JioFiber. Absolute nightmare.
Evidence attached below:
Image 1: MyJio App showing my service request has been unilaterally forced "ON HOLD" for the 3rd time.
Image 2: The absurd DM chat where @JioCare claims I requested the hold.
Image 3: The incompetent email response from the Appellate Authority claiming "No SR reference found" when it was clearly provided.
