The Indian Cormorant, scientifically known as Phalacrocorax fuscicollis, is a bird species found in South Asia. It's recognized for its dark plumage and distinctive long neck. These cormorants are often seen near water bodies, where they dive to catch fish.
A Shikra. The bird which is often regarded as a perfect combination of being brave and wise, landed on a tree last in our garden last evening, to take shelter from the rain. I wasn't carrying my telephoto. This shot was taken with my 100mm prime macro.
