The KIIT and KISS family is set to welcome our alumna, Jyotirmayee Nayak, back to the KIIT campus for a special homecoming celebration on 15th July 2026.

Jyotirmayee has made Odisha proud by becoming the first Odia singer to reach the Grand Finale of Indian Idol Season 16. Her journey, talent and hard work have brought great happiness to all of us.

I appeal to everyone to support and vote for her on Sony LIV. My best wishes to Jyotirmayee for the grand finale. May she continue to shine and make Odisha and India proud.

Tomorrow will be a very happy day for the KIIT & KISS family as we welcome home our lovable KIIT alumna and Odisha’s pride, Jyotirmayee Nayak.

Her journey to the Grand Finale of Indian Idol Season 16 has brought great happiness to all of us. She has become the first Odia singer to reach this stage of Indian Idol.

India’s Yuva Shakti continues to make a mark globally!

Congratulations to our team of Debadatta Priyadarshi, Harshit Singhal, Kabeer Chhillar and Sandeep Kuchi for winning Gold Medals at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad. This was India’s best performance at this prestigious platform.

Their brilliance, dedication and passion for science have made the entire nation proud. It will also motivate countless young minds to study and excel in chemistry.

It gave me great happiness to see devotees, students, staff and well-wishers come together with devotion and discipline. Every arrangement was made with sincerity and care for the smooth conduct of this sacred occasion.

Heartiest congratulations to my 11 lovable KISSians on qualifying in the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination. This is the first time that such a large number of KISS students have qualified in NEET together, and it gives me even greater happiness that 9 of them are girls.

All of them belong to different tribal communities and come from humble backgrounds. Many are the first in their families and communities to dream of becoming doctors. Their determination and sincerity have brought them to this stage.

At KISS, we have always tried to ensure that no child is deprived of an opportunity because of poverty. My appreciation to all the teachers and mentors who guided and supported them throughout their preparation. I am sure these children will become compassionate doctors and serve society with sincerity. My best wishes to all of them for the journey ahead.

I was very happy to sit with them and listen as they spoke about their dreams of becoming doctors. I encouraged them to study with discipline, remain humble and always remember that medicine is a service to humanity.
