Most fear around AI isn’t technical.
It’s emotional.
Low understanding meets high disruption.
Judgment arrives before curiosity.
AI becomes the villain.
Not because it’s harmful, but because it’s unfamiliar.
It’s unfamiliarity speaking confidently.
AI tools aren’t replacing research.
They’re compressing access to information.
We moved from noisy tabs
to structured starting points.
The shift isn’t truth ownership,
it’s speed and cognitive leverage.
AI tools aren’t knowledge.
They’re a navigation layer over it.
The irony?
The more you confront the fear, the freer you become.
Because truth doesn't break you, it liberates you from the version that wasn't real to begin with.
When we are forced to see ourselves differently through self reflection or someone else's perception, our mind resists and sometimes panics.
This reaction isn't confusion, it is fear: The fear of rewriting who we think we are.
> Pick the wrong person and you’ll spend your energy managing emotions
> Pick the wrong work and you’ll burn it chasing meaning
> Pick the wrong city and you’ll limit your exposure to luck
The one who get these three right rarely need “motivation” their env does the work for them
Your success depends on three long term bets:
> The partner who multiplies your clarity,
> The work that compounds your strengths,
> The place that expands your opportunities.
Great PMs don’t just manage scope.
They anticipate friction.
.
And backend friction is the one that silently kills most roadmaps.
.
Sometimes, the feature is stuck where no Figma file can see it.

I go deeper into this in a new blog I wrote:

The harder the path, the more beautiful the destination — but don’t forget, how you walk it matters just as much as where it leads.
.
.
The destination may be gold, but it’s the dust on your feet that tells the real story.
