I hate that game developers these days all think they're untouchable geniuses and that it's a human rights violation to be fired for making dogshit games nobody buys.
I'm Chinese but I don't have the fundamental Chinese strength of willingness to grind. My strengths are more Western: doing the minimum at work, playing videogames, shitposting, blogging
Agreed.
You can never convince me to watch anime or play any Gacha in English voiceovers.
I am from that era where the thought of even listening to EN dubs is disgusting and I am not going to change my opinion regarding this.
And fan subs were great.

Pragmata shines because every mechanic in the game is built around Hugh & Diana’s relationship - neither character can survive without the other. More importantly, they actually LIKE each other.
Contrast this with games like God of War and Last of Us, cynical reflections of parenthood that, from dialogue to combat, treats the protagonists’ children like a walking ball and chain. It’s as if Kratos and Joel (and maybe the developers) are constantly saying to their kids “I’d be having so much more fun if you weren’t here.”
Sadly, those games WOULD be more fun if the protagonists were alone. But not Pragmata! I applaud that.
