Anil Ambani got two settlements; 49,000 crores due to 53 banks settled for 92 paise per hundred rupees, and 10,000 crores settled for 35 paise per hundred rupees. And now Subhash Chandra of Zee Media has settled 22,000 crores for 6.5 crores. The Bombay High Court quashed the FIR against Indiabulls and its associates for fraud and money laundering because the complainant's hands are unclean. On the other hand, the courts, including the SC, decline relief to MSMEs, which the Parliament has ordained, giving wholly untenable reasons. Poor people falsely accused of ordinary crimes languish in jail, their bail applications not being taken up for hearing for months, while fancy PILs of celebrity lawyers are liberally entertained. The Bar is silent; so too the Government and the Opposition. What is the remedy, other than for us, the common man, to raise our voices?

It has taken "only" 15 years. No VC would have continued the investment. vTitan has 10 new products in the pipeline and business is starting to accelerate now. The med-tech software stack is also getting deeper.

I post these so young entrepreneurs know how long it takes in such critical capability-requiring areas.

It takes many years to gain the capability and many more years to convert the capability into business.

There are times when success is quick. That is the exception than the rule. VCs tend to look for such exceptions. You cannot assume you will be the exception when you start.

She is Rutuja, who was preparing for the MPSC Drug Inspector exam in Maharashtra.

Before the exam, the question paper was leaked from inside the MPSC system, as it was shared among 3 MPSC employees, and one of them passed the paper to a coaching-class operator in Nandurbar.

Rutuja's father wanted to get the question paper for her before the exam. He got the paper from coaching-class operator for Rs 5 lakh as an advance payment, with more money promised later after the exam.

Her father then gave the paper to Rutuja.

Rutuja shared the leaked question paper with her boyfriend Gaurav.

Then, the exam took place, and when the results came out, Rutuja cleared the exam and secured 7th rank in the recruitment process.

But after that, the relationship between Rutuja and Gaurav ended. They broke up.

After the breakup, Gaurav decided to take revenge for the breakup, so he sent an email to the MPSC and complained about his ex girlfriend Rutuja, in connection with the paper leak.

Later, he realized that he himself could also get into trouble. After all, he had received the leaked question paper from Rutuja.

So, he tried to take back his complaint. He approached the MPSC again and claimed that he had been confused about the examination process.

But it was too late, as the investigation had already started. In the end, all people involved in the paper leak case were arrested, including Gaurav.

This love story went from sharing feelings to sharing evidence...hmmmm...Some breakups end with blocking each other. This one ended with everyone getting exposed.

It is now clear that the Nepal disaster was caused by a natural trigger (cryospheric collapse) but amplified by Chinese hydrological modifications and infrastructure footprint along the Tibetan side of the border. In other words, China's upstream actions did not cause the glacier failure but contributed to the disaster's severity and cascading impacts downstream.

Worse, despite a deepening relationship with Kathmandu, Beijing did not send an emergency notification to Nepal of sudden water-level spikes, debris-dam formation or other upstream anomalies. An immediate notification, by compelling authorities to evacuate vulnerable people, could have potentially reduced the death toll.

Scientific studies have long warned that human alterations to rivers and mountain landscapes can exacerbate natural disasters.

Sorry congress working committee did not decide.

Nehru wrote to Jinnah in 1938 saying Vandemataram was sung for 30 years and no one called it religious. He bemaoned Jinnah was not agreeing for even for two stanzas.

The dwarfing of Vandemataram to stanzas was a desperate attempt of the congress working committee to get the Muslim League on board to avoid partition which it failed to.

Finally it lost a third of India's land and also vandemataram

Your claim that the Constituent Assembly decided in 1950 that only the first two stanzas of Vande Mataram should be sung because the remaining stanzas contained religious references that were opposed is not right.

The Constituent Assembly record says

On 24 January 1950, Dr Rajendra Prasad expressly said there would be no formal resolution. His statement made no reference to two stanzas, religious imagery or objections from any community. Instead, he declared:

"Vande Mataram… shall be honoured equally with Jana Gana Mana and shall have equal status with it.”

The two-stanza restriction actually came from the Congress Working Committee not the Constituent Assembly in 1950.

Nehru's own Selected Works record that the CWC, meeting from 26 October-1 November 1937, while “recognising the validity of the objection raised by Muslims to certain parts of the Bande Mataram song,” recommended that “the first two stanzas only” be sung at national gatherings.

Even more revealing is Nehru's letter to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on 20 October 1937. Nehru admitted: "the present outcry against Bande Mataram is to a large extent a manufactured one by the communalists.” Yet he added that there was “some substance in it”; days later came the CWC compromise.

So the documentary chronology is clear:

1937: Muslim objections -- CWC recognises them -- only the first two stanzas recommended.

1950: Constituent Assembly imposes no two-stanza restriction -- Rajendra Prasad instead accords Vande Mataram “equal status” and equal honour with Jana Gana Mana.

INDIA MOVES TO SERVE HAFIZ SAEED IN LAHORE

NIA summons to Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed in the Pahalgam terror attack case will soon be routed through MEA channels and served in Lahore.

Saeed has been chargesheeted for conspiracy and waging war against India. A Jammu special court has already issued a non-bailable warrant against him.

The move under the new BNSS framework is aimed at formally documenting efforts to bring Saeed before the court, potentially paving the way for a trial in absentia under Section 356 if he continues to evade proceedings.

India is using every available legal and diplomatic avenue to pursue the mastermind, while Pakistan shields him from international accountability.
