On 8 April 1929, Bhagat Singh & #BatukeshwarDutt hurled bombs from the Assembly’s Visitors Gallery, shouting “Inquilab Zindabad!”
#Batukeshwar later endured a 63-day hunger strike for prisoners’ rights.
Jailed again during Quit India, he spent his final years in Patna.
Passed away on 20 July 1965 in AIIMS Delhi.
