Its not FREEBIES thats a problem in India, rather its the huge chunk of money that is lying un-used with Corporates/Corporations & Bank.

Infact, things like Free Electricity, Free Water, Free Housing etc. Is increasing productivity & consumption.

@SanjukCool assume very low registration tax for property and no Capital Gains. Do you think people will still opt to take 50% in Cash? For the seller, its just about avoiding the tax.

We need either lower taxes or higher penalty when caught (and catching is easy if one really wants)

@BhaskarAglave check maids who have grandkids. Most of their kids are having 1 or 2 at max. Takes a generation for mindset to change but is changing and changing fast
