🚨 2027 Cricket World Cup

- 14 teams will play a total of 54 games

- Pool Stage of 2 groups with 7 teams each.

- Top 3 will qualify for Super 6s from each group.

- Top 4 teams from Super 6s will qualify for SF

- Points will carry forward from the Pool stage to the Super 6s (exact PCF details yet to be finalised)

- SA will host 46 games, 5 for Zimbabwe & 3 for Namibia

- SA, Zim will qualify directly as hosts. Namibia will play the qualifiers.

- ⁠The 8 highest-ranked teams on the cutoff date will qualify
⁠
- ⁠4 teams will qualify via global qualifiers

2027 ODI World Cup is going back to 1999, 2003 and 2007 format

I wish it was 1996, 2011 and 2015 format with simple round robin group stage with two groups of 7 teams each, quarter finals, semi finals and final... 1996 has only 6 teams in each group

2027 will have two stages of group matches

In the first stage of group games, two groups with 7 teams each will have round robin format

Then in the second stage of group games, you will have top 3 from each group from the first stage will be put in the same group... However, teams won't play the teams that they actually played in first group stage... So in a group of 6, each team will only play 3 teams from other group in the first phase group stage of the tournament

Followed by semi finals and final

The points and net run rate from the first group stage will carry forward to second group stage

1999/2003/2007 formats are a bit complex

1996/2011/2015 formats are simple to follow

Even 2019/2023 are simple to follow but they have less chance of jeopardy and also you can play only few teams

Why do we hate the rich?

Because we suffer from the illusion that the rich have become wealthy by exploiting the poor. We were made to believe this by our socialist culture, primarily expressed through films.

In the 1970s to 1990s, the hero used to be a poor yet brilliant man betrayed by the system, and the villain a rich corrupt man, always exploiting his poor factory workers, staff, etc. We've grown up with that kind of thought process.

But that's a wrong philosophy. A poor person is not always an honest man, and a rich person is not always bad either.

Tata Group and Reliance combined are the largest employers in India (14 lakh+), more than even any government sector. And these numbers only represent the people working for them directly. The number of people indirectly deriving employment from these corporates must be ten times more. The contribution of business houses to our country's overall development is immense.

You can have ideological differences with them, but hating them just because they are rich makes no sense.

India has the largest population of street dogs in the world, the highest number of deaths related to street dog incidents, and the highest number of rabies cases. This problem continues to grow.

We urgently need a national program for mass vaccination and sterilization of street dogs; otherwise, the situation will deteriorate. But, it seems unlikely that it'll be taken seriously unless a minister or senior judge falls victim to street dog incidents.
