In the past 11 years, credit to MSMEs has grown threefold — from ₹10 lakh crore to ₹34.9 lakh crore. The ecosystem is strengthening not just financially but institutionally.

She also highlighted that:

- 30 Technology Centres and 100 Extension Centres are being established under the Technology Centre Programme (PPP model)

- The Yashasvini Campaign has enabled 7 crore women entrepreneurs to formalise their enterprises

India Melts Its First Rare Earth Metal!
A Historic Leap in Critical Minerals & Clean Energy

India has officially entered the Rare Earth Metal Age!
Under the Ministry of Mines–financed PRISM Scheme, and facilitated by JNARDDC (Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development & Design Centre), Ashvini Rare Earth Pvt. Ltd., Pune, has inaugurated India’s first Nd-Pr metal manufacturing plant — the very metals that power EV motors, wind turbines, and advanced defence systems.
This achievement, established under an MoA with BARC & IREL, showcases how JNARDDC’s facilitation and coordination under PRISM has transformed research innovations into industrial-scale breakthroughs.
The inauguration was led by Mr Vikram Ajit Dhoot (MD, Ashvini Rare Earth) and Dr Anupam Agnihotri (Director, JNARDDC & Chairman TEC-PRISM) in the presence of eminent representatives from BARC, IREL, JNARDDC & MCCIA.
This milestone firmly places India on the global Rare Earth supply-chain map — a bold stride toward #AtmaNirbharBharat and the nation’s clean-energy future.

A significant leap towards #Atmanirbharta & #MilitaryCivilFusion was achieved with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Headquarters Base Workshop Group, #IndianArmy and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) at Army Base Workshop, #SouthernCommand, #Pune.

The MoU incorporates establishment of an Incubation & Facilitation Cluster for collaboration on Land Systems, giving impetus to Indigenisation, R&D and development of critical equipment, spares, tools & automated systems for #IndianArmy.

The joint initiative will foster industry handholding, mentor start-ups and incubation programmes, positioning the region as a hub for Land Systems manufacturing. Close coordination between Army Base Workshops and industry will bridge technological & knowledge gaps, enhancing innovation and competitiveness in the Defence Production sector.

MCCIA Founder Secretary Late Shri. A. R. Bhat initiated a comprehensive review of banking services in #Maharashtra.

"To provide capital to the trade and industry in Maharashtra, it is essential to establish a Joint Stock commercial bank...", was the thought.

The first meeting of the committee working on it was held at the 'Kesari-Mahratta' office and matters like the maximum number of Directors (11), and the amount of each share (Rs. 50/-) were discussed and closed at the subsequent meetings.

In a major step towards self-reliance, the Indian Army has issued a ₹6,500 crore tender to acquire 400 indigenously designed howitzers.

This #MakeInIndia initiative will boost artillery capabilities with advanced, locally-produced 155 mm/52 calibre systems.
