For over 200 years, technology has replaced jobs but created better ones. AI may be the first revolution to automate the very knowledge work people were expected to move into.
In my latest piece, I talk about why the old playbook no longer applies. And that's why this AI revolution is fundamentally different.

India built Aadhaar for 1.3B people. UPI processes 18B transactions a month. But one US order just cut off access to the world's best AI models - for every Indian, overnight. We build at scale. Now we need to build for sovereignty.

Maharashtra’s push for U.S.-India nuclear cooperation is about far more than energy. Reliable, scalable nuclear power could become the backbone of India’s next industrial rise — if the state can turn ambition into execution. My latest for @TheAheadForum

The Apple ecosystem has started exporting components and sub-assemblies to China.
This was unimaginable when the Smartphone PLI scheme was first conceptualised.
Demonstrates how effective the PLI scheme has been in mobile manufacturing from the perspective of achieving government's policy objectives across several parameters.
India and Russia could benefit with oil and gas deals amid Iran conflict
Russia recognizes that its partnership with India is multifaceted and understands the benefits of boosting rupee-ruble transactions.

When rest of the world has been taking drastic fuel conservation measures such as odd-even, 4 day work weeks, school and office closures and increasing fuel prices by 20-30%, India under PM @narendramodi Ji remains an oasis of energy security, availability and affordability.
Taking a further step to ease supply of commercial LPG, Government of India has decided to increase the commercial LPG allocation of states to 70%, with 20% allocation given to industries such as steel, automobile, textile and other labour intensive industries. Priority will be given to those industries where piped gas is not a substitute.

Been having a terrible experience with @BlueDart_@BlueDartCares deliveries lately - today was the 6th time. Somehow, whenever there’s a package from @hm, it feels like the priority is to return the parcel rather than deliver it.
For the past 5 deliveries, the delivery partner neither visited nor called, yet the status kept getting marked as “Consignee not available” — even though I was available each time.
Today, a delivery partner finally showed up. When my wife asked why previous packages were marked unavailable without any attempt to deliver, his response (in a rude tone) was: “It’s not my job to keep calling customers. At most, the package will get returned.”
Is this really the kind of customer experience you’re aiming for? Shocking that in times like these, in Delhi NCR, service can still be this poor.
The Middle East is entering a protracted phase of instability, a confrontation that could redraw regional alignments, disrupt key energy corridors, and send oil prices surging to highs not seen in years. The implications extend far beyond the region: inflation, supply chains, and global growth are now all in play.
The world isn’t running out of oil. But it is repricing geopolitical risk. Hormuz, LNG, inflation, shale response, and the structural war premium are now embedded in crude. Why this could reshape energy markets for years — not weeks. My latest for OWO.

While India hosts the prestigious AI Impact Summit, welcoming global CEOs & leaders, the Youth Congress decided to stage a disruptive shirtless protest. Why drag petty politics here? Shouldn’t the nation come first? Always? Strange and shameful!!!
India’s Republic Day parade wasn’t just a celebration; it was a statement. Russian, American, French & indigenous defence hardware on display. EU leaders as Chief Guests. Strategic autonomy in motion.
