Why are youngsters giving up so easily on life and life's problems?
Where has their inner strength gone?
Why aren't they able to face up to bullies at work or home??
The first way to build resilience in youngsters : it starts from parents. Parents should not construct a make believe world around them, where they are the prince and princess. Parents should now and then, in a grading manner, expose them to the harsh world outside.
Parents should be able to tell a firm NO to their children without feeling guilty. The child should learn how to accept a NO without throwing a tantrum.
Children should learn how to sit in silence, to observe their thoughts, to listen to their thoughts. In this silence, their inner self speaks to them. The more one has a meaningful dialogue with one self, the more their inner-self (read higher self) empowers them.
They get that much needed strength to carry out with life's issues from their inner self.
Teach children to ACCEPT. Life is never fair. The sooner one accepts this truth, the better it is. One will then not go into victim mode. One starts focussing to find a solution to the problem in hand.
Have multiple plans. Plan A, plan B etc...this reduces stress in children.
Equip children to connect to a Higher Power (God or whatever one wants to call Him), to talk to that Higher Power. When everything else fails, they get that silent strength from this connection.
When children start developing their inner strength , slowly they grow into mentally stronger teens and young adults, who ready to face life's problem.

Wanted to take a moment to thank someone who gave @SkyrootA its first real lift-off—Mukesh Bansal.
8 Years ago, we sent him a cold LinkedIn message.
He replied.
We met that very weekend.
Soon after, he became Skyroot’s first investor with a ₹10 crore cheque.
At the time, there was no space policy. No proof that we could build an orbital rocket. Immense technology risk. And every reason to say no.
Yet he looked beyond the uncertainty. He believed in our passion and saw possibility long before there was evidence.
But what stayed with me even more than the investment was the trust.
He gave us complete freedom to build, trusted us to make the right decisions, and was always there to mentor us whenever we needed him. More than capital, he helped shape our thinking with one piece of advice:
“Always do the right thing. This journey will be much longer and much harder than you imagine. Build two things with equal importance: the product and the organisation.”
This has guided us through every phase of the journey and continue to shape how we build Skyroot today.
The first cheque is never just capital. It is belief.
Every great startup needs someone willing to take that first leap of faith—when all they can really invest in is the founders’ conviction.
India needs many more such risk-takers backing ambitious deep-tech entrepreneurs long before success becomes obvious.

As everything slowly begins to sink-in, and after finally getting some sleep last night, I wanted to share a small personal note…✍️
The first call I made after Vikram-1 successfully reached orbit was to my Dad.
He is the man who made my journey possible—with dreams for me far bigger than the ones I had for myself, and by simply never giving up on me.
Until my 8th standard, I was a bad student. I scored 51 marks in Maths and even failed another subject. Back then, I could never have imagined that I would one day make it to an IIT—or have the privilege of contributing to India’s first privately developed rocket reaching orbit, making India only the third country in the world to achieve this.
When I called him after the launch, he just cried.
And cried.
He couldn’t speak a single word.
But I understood every word he couldn’t say.
I managed to hold back my tears when Vikram-1 reached orbit. But somehow, writing this, I can’t.
Thank you, Dad. ❤️
And a big shout-out to every dad who dreams big for their children—and never gives up on them. 🙏

Thank you Ajeet! I won't claim to be more Indian, but I'm so excited to be here. As a Canadian living in India, I know I am an outlier (hence why a small group of people are incredulous and invent conspiracy theories just to wrap their minds around my choice to live here) but I look forward to the day when the reverse is true and non-Indian people are flocking to India because of how obvious the opportunity is. I have already begun to see the beginnings of that reverse brain drain over the last few years, and know a number of founders who chose to relocate back to India after realising that innovation was thriving (especially amongst Gen Zs and Gen Alphas) in ways that it wasn't when they left many years ago. There has never been a better time to build here. I believe that with every fibre of my being!
India is witnessing a new era. It's the era of "you can just do things" and that's why I'm not going to stop. This unfolding story needs to be told. People around the world need to know that India is changing, for the better. Right now, the global perspective of India is distorted by biased news media and view-hungry influencers. And so many of the Indian content creators that I've seen covering tech (not all, but many) just focus on updates from the West. They're making videos about Anthropic and OpenAI and Anduril and Tesla and there's nothing inherently wrong with that but there's also a lot of incredible stuff happening in India too, and most of it is getting entirely overlooked for reasons I cannot fathom.
Some advance toward greatness, others return to it. We Indians do both.

When I first came to India, the space industry was closed to private players.
The most well-known "startup" at that time was TeamIndus. Skyroot didn't exist.
A year later, in 2018, Skyroot was founded. Private companies in India couldn't launch rockets yet, but Pawan and Bharath forged ahead regardless, optimistic that liberalisation would happen someday.
Then, in 2020, it did. Indian companies were finally free to compete with American, Russian, European, and Chinese startups. They could build their own launch vehicles. And satellites. At an undisclosed location in the United States, Elon swallowed hard.
I was publishing videos about Indian companies on YouTube at this point. I remember thinking, "Making content about these spacetech developments is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Now, ~6 years later, Skyroot has gifted India with the biggest white pill of all time. While the world watched, a team of ~1,000+ Indian optimists (with an average age of 28) flawlessly executed an orbital rocket launch.
No private space company IN THE WORLD has ever done this on their first try. As I write this, I have goosebumps. I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to witness this firsthand. I also feel inspired by the resilience, ingenuity, and wherewithal of the entire Skyroot team.
The next chapter of India's space journey has officially begun.
